I have been using a different bike seat with my youngest for the last two years, but she has grown quite a lot and her legs were getting cramped on the older seat. We ride my ebike conversion so our rides are often 10 -20 miles long! It was to a point where she complained and was losing interest in our LONG bike rides. So I started looking for different seating options. I finally decided to give this one a try because she had asked for a seat with a backrest and this was one of the best I've seen.The seat arrived in good condition with no issues. I did find some mediocre instructions that were included, but honestly I just assembled and installed based on pictures and common sense. Relatively easy for me, but I am mechanically inclined. I was definitely worried about the stability and strength of it until it was all assembled. Once assembled, it is a pretty solid seat. It provides adequate leg room for my relatively tall 5 year old. The seat was comfortable and she likes the backrest. We only attached one of the side protection pieces to make it easier to get on and off. I wasn't going to install either one, but she insisted, lol!After a 10 mile ride yesterday, I must say that we were impressed. She did not complain once, in fact, she said that the seat was perfect and she was comfortable the whole time! My only issue with this seat is that it can not be quickly installed and removed like my previous seat. however, this one is way more robust and stable as a result, so I still prefer this one now!

The media could not be loaded. I cannot tell you the amount of compliments I have received on this bike seat, in addition to using it as often as possible because we just love it! It is so much easier than a child seat that sits behind me (as I had in the past), and really allows my child to feel like she is steering and choosing where to turn for fun rides together (and I can keep my eyes on her the entire ride)! The only thing I would recommend is buying upgraded hardware for installing it- the hardware that comes with the seat is kind of cheaply and crappy; it secured much tighter once I switched the nuts/bolts/screws with better/stronger/more reliable ones! It was however a quick fix, so I still give it five stars and highly recommend!!!

Like others, my seat arrived without any instructions, and without interior packaging (just loose in the box). I did not have enough of certain screws, and about 10 extra of another.If you are looking at this seat there are other nearly identical ones (almost certainly from the same factory) for less money. I returned this and ordered the Leeofty Child Bicycle Seat at half the price, so far am happy with it.

Forget the negative reviews. This was super easy for me to install. Fits great on my bike. My daughter loves it and she feels safe and secure in it. It’s much better for balance than a rear seat!

Thought this would work for my wife and daughter, had to return as dimensions are a joke for the size range. As my not 5yr half Vietnamese daughter who weighs less that half of what its designed for at 28 lbs. could not fit on it. So I don't know what 7 yr old would fit. I don't believe it would have worked if my little girl was 3 its not designed well enough to have enough room to operate the bike unless your 6' tall.

My toddler LOVES this. We go on bike rides for hours so I know it's comfortable for her. Super sturdy doesn't ever make me think she isn't safe. It was very easy to install the only thing I don't like is having to ride with your legs kind of pointed out but it honestly isn't that big of a deal, if the kids are happy I'm happy!

I loved this seat until I didn't.My kid and had have had countless fun rides around the neighborhood. We both loved it. Until tragically, while mid left turn, my bike came to a sudden stop. I had to brace myself and kid to keep from toppling over. I was unsure what happened until I heard my kid screaming and saw that her leg had gotten sucked into my front tire. A trip to the ER revealed a broken tibia. Now we are looking at 6 to 8 weeks of keeping a 3 year old off her feet.Truthfully there is nothing wrong with the product and the event was not really the result of user error either. It just happened. But as a result we will probably discontinue the use of this seat.If you do choose to purchase, just be careful and take measures to protect little feet.
