I have no idea how old my last motor was but it had completed its mission. Finding a replacement took a lot of research and time. I settled on this motor and have been astonished by the reliability and power of this little motor! It's quiet, powerful and was pretty easy to install. It was super close to fitting into the same holes as the old motor. A couple of hits with a drill and it fit perfectly. It even accepted my old "plate" on top of the motor. I highly recommend this product!!!!

I used this in place of the motor that locked up on my Moultrie 12v Atv seed spreader .It fit perfectly. But I did have to buy a spinner plate to fit it as the Moultrie one was too big for the shaft.I later added an inexpensive 12v speed controller because I wanted to slow down the motor RPM.Works great !

Using this to replace a seed spreader motor that's attached to a Polaris Ranger. Works awesome, but the speed is a bit high. I bought a manual speed controller to go with it and now it's really easy to set how far the seed is thrown. So far, it's holding up like a champ!

I was very surprised when I opened the package. My feeder is an old Layman's feeder made back in the 50's. The motor was an old Kaiser heater motor, I think. I had ran it as a 12 volt motor even though it was a 6 volt. The sealed lube in the bearings finally gave out. I was not expecting to get that kind of quality ever again but to my surprise this motor was same size and by the weight I could tell this motor will last a very long time. I put it on a 12v battery and it ran like a Swiss watch. I would recommend this motor to anyone.

Purchased a motor for a project that has nothing to do with deer feeders. This motor is set up with 2 pulleys that spins a 1/2 threaded drive rod that raises and lowers a target to shoot at. Attached a small remote that raises and lower the target with a push of a button. Works great,

Motor is a little larger that I expected so I had to modify the metal box it was to be mounted in. This 12 volt really has to torque to sling corn out a radius of 30 feet or more and it is powerful enough to blast through most corn jams like the never occurred. I you use programmable electric feeders to feed wild deer and turkey, this is the replacement motor you want.

the 6 volt motors and the 12 volt motors are not interchangeable
