Great varnish!!
This is my go to varnish for finishing off my painted furniture pieces... I usually do a couple of coats of satin followed by a coat of flat matt. All round great stuff!!

Looks fantastic
I had previously used Osmo oil on my kitchen worktops but was disappointed with its durability and wanted to try something else. I had used Polyvine wax finish before and found it easy to apply with a great finish, so I decided to look for something in their range that I could use for my worktops and chose this.I removed the Osmo with solvent and cleaner from Osmo. Then removed all residue with water and allowed to dry. The surface was prepared with an orbital sander, cleaned, dampened and sanded again before brushing the first coat on. The first coat was a bit rough, so I hand sanded after about 16h later and put another coat on, and a final coat about 6 hours later. The final coat spread extremely easily and left a near perfect surface with no sign of the brush. The timings were purely down to my schedule and are in excess of the manufacturer advice. I have no doubt that the manufacturers advice is good. After a week of normal use, there is absolutely no sign of wear or water damage.I coated an offcut with the same process and left it to cure for 2 days. I then left water on the surface and a wet cloth as a test. The water dried and left a white residue that wiped off without leaving a trace. The cloth dried and left no sign of damage either.Looks great!

Very pleased
This went on so easily, dried quickly and doesn’t smell at all. It was also easy to clean up drips. Lovely finish, I have attached photo with one tile varnished and one not for comparison.

Very easy to apply, good finish.
Have both the matte and the satin of this varnish, love both. The only thing I would say about the satin is once you have 3 coats on, it does dry quite shiny. Not as shiny as gloss, but I think a bit shinier than what you think 'Satin' should be. Not a problem for me. Dries very quickly (enough to handle and recoat) but it does say to fully cure leave 16 hours. Great product, can use on virtually anything, stone, metal etc. Very easy to wash brush as water based too.

An excellent acrylic varnish, but don't use it over shellac sealer!
This varnish is absolutely fantastic. It gives a gorgeous finish if applied as per the instructions. I have frequently used Polyvine varnish on many different upcycling projects, but this was the first time I've used their Heavy Duty one. I have used it to refinish the wood inside the top cabin of a yacht that is frequently used for sea fishing, and is open to all weathers.Initially, I sealed in the wood stain with shellac, but to my dismay, upon completion, the varnish completely peeled away in parts when I removed the masking tape. Luckily, I was able to remove all the varnish quite easily because it simply peeled away in a perfect, complete sheet. Subsequently, I had to remove all the varnish, re-stain the wood, and re-varnish everything. This time, NO sealer, and although the first coat of varnish lifted some of the stain during it's application, it adhered brilliantly to the surfaces and I had no further issues. I gave a light sanding between coats, using tack cloths to remove any dust and particles, before applying the next coats. The finish was sublime and has, so far, suffered no detriment whatsoever from the late summer, autumnal and early winter coastal climate of the Bristol Channel.I highly recommend this product, and will happily keep using Polyvine as my go-to products.
