This strap is quite a lifesaver. The ability to loop it through itself and/or shackles reduces the amount of time I have to spend on the road, and in blackout conditions, it is bright and easy to see. It fits flawlessly over the multi-ball hitch on my truck, and hands down, this thing is heavy-duty. I have been fortunate enough to successfully recover 10+ vehicles, and the main strap has little to no wear. From cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans, it is perfect for the stress I put it through. I trust the strap more than most vehicle's tow points. The length is perfect for most instances, meaning I don't have to link it with other straps threatening the loops' integrity, and when it can be -40F outside, time is of the essence. Speaking of cold weather, it is worth pointing out that there has been no fraying or other damage that temperature can cause. I am writing this because I am thankful for the strap's performance in a recovery I performed tonight, which would've been a tow truck's nightmare. Everybody was safe, sound, and back on the road, and it couldn't have been done without this strap. Thank you for making a high-quality product. God bless. Review: Good quality strap - Without a doubt, this robust strap is a true game-changer for outdoor enthusiasts like me. Its exceptional strength and sturdiness make it the ultimate choice for anchoring to trees, and when I attach my winch to it, I feel an unwavering confidence in its reliability. It's not just great; it's durable, standing up to the rigors of rugged terrain and demanding tasks without breaking a sweat. This strap has become an indispensable part of my outdoor gear, a trusty companion that never lets me down and ensures that every adventure is met with the utmost security and peace of mind. ## Features - TREE SAVER FOR WINCHING - Wrap it around a tree, stump or rock as a winch anchor point. The 3 inch wide polyester web spreads the load so it grips the trunk without cutting into the bark, and your winch line never touches the tree. - 35,000 LB BREAK STRENGTH, LAB TESTED - Rated well above the pull of any vehicle winch, so the anchor is never the weak point in the line. Double-reinforced stitching at both reinforced eye loops takes a shackle cleanly. - STUMP AND LOG PULLING - The same strap pulls stumps with a tractor, clears fallen trees and logs off a track, and doubles as a short winch extension when the anchor is just out of reach. - HIGH VISIBILITY, WEATHER RESISTANT - Neon green web stays visible at dusk and in snow, so nobody walks into a loaded line. Polyester sheds mud and water; rinse it off and it stores dry. - PROTECTIVE SLEEVE AND WRAP TIE INCLUDED - A sliding sleeve protects the web where it runs over rough bark or an edge, and the wrap tie keeps the strap rolled and tangle-free in the truck or the winch bag. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08FHJHYX6 | | Best Sellers Rank | #268,506 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #331 in Tow Straps | | Brand | Sunferno | | Brand Name | Sunferno | | Color | Neon Green | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Truck | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 4,006 Reviews | | Fastener Type | Hook | | Hardware Material | Stainless Steel | | Included Components | 1 x Tree Saver Strap, 1 x Protective Sleeve, 1 x Wrap Tie | | Item Dimensions L x W | 96"L x 3"W | | Item Highlight | Protects Tree Bark During Winching, Double-Reinforced Stitching, Polyester Webbing, Reinforced Eye Loops, Bright Neon Green | | Load Capacity | 11667 pound | | Manufacturer | Sunferno | | Manufacturer Part Number | SF-TS35k | | Material | Polyester | | Material Type | Polyester | | Model Number | SF-TS35k | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Size | 3" x 8' | | Tensile Strength | 35000 pounds | | UPC | 638126854995 | | Unit Count | 8 Feet | | Vehicle Service Type | Truck | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Sunferno - **Color:** Neon Green - **Material:** Polyester - **Size:** 3" x 8' - **Vehicle Service Type:** Truck ## Images ![Tree Saver Strap for Winching 3x8 Ft, 35000 Lb Winch Strap, Trunk Protector - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/916cJygIkFL.jpg) ![Tree Saver Strap for Winching 3x8 Ft, 35000 Lb Winch Strap, Trunk Protector - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/716c9MJxOkL.jpg) ![Tree Saver Strap for Winching 3x8 Ft, 35000 Lb Winch Strap, Trunk Protector - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71fHj+8mCcL.jpg) ![Tree Saver Strap for Winching 3x8 Ft, 35000 Lb Winch Strap, Trunk Protector - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71nnAgKVplL.jpg) ![Tree Saver Strap for Winching 3x8 Ft, 35000 Lb Winch Strap, Trunk Protector - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71mheAo8uNL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can this be used on hooks? Or is it only for D rings** A: If the hook is rated as a secure towing point, then you could use it there. As a general rule, make sure the towing hook is stronger than the strap so that the strap breaks first if in case one of them is overloaded by accident. Since otherwise if the metal hook was to break it would fly off damaging surrounding things. So do check if the hook is rated for more than 35000lb break strength. Regards Dave Louis Sunferno Support Consultant **Q: Is this a snatch strap? Meaning is it meant to stretch and be pulled with slack in the line?** A: Tow Strap=Made from Polyester and should not stretch. Snatch Strap=Made from Nylon and should stretch, and not meant for towing. They are not posting what this strap is made from and there is no such thing as a dual purpose strap. Better to walk away than risk the hazards. **Q: Where is it made?** A: It is made in "China" recover should be less then 17,500 lb. Break strength minimum break strength of 35,000. Comes in storage bad, keep away from direct sun light, keep it clean, clean it if get mud etc. Hope this helps questions that you have. Terry **Q: 209towstraps.com sells these for $10 why you 3 x more expensive ?** A: From what I see in their website, they say it's a 30,000lb strap for $10. They provide no certificate of break strength for the strap. It might as well be a 5000lb strap for that price, there's no way it's a 30,000lb polyester strap unless they are selling at a loss. Even the Tree Saver Recovery Strap 3" x 8' costs $14 on Amazon which I know is a really good price. So it's not us charging more, it's them selling at a loss or scamming you. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best I've Ever Had (Alaska Cold Weather Recovery) *by A***7 on October 24, 2020* As someone who drives an above-average amount during winter here in Fairbanks, Alaska, I've seen my fair share of vehicle accidents in all sorts of conditions. This product is extremely well manufactured. If you are looking for a strap to pull a truck or a car, to uproot a tree, or to setup a zip line the professional way (using a Power Puller), then look no further, this strap is so well done that it is a bit difficult to fold for storage. We used it during winter time, on snow, and we even walked on top of it with sharp rocks underneath, with no issues whatsoever. Colors: The bright green color if very good so you don't forget to pick it up at the end of whatever you are doing. Length: perfect for its purpose, use it around a tree with one full loop or a half loop with no problem. The loops: the thickness of the material used to build this strap is of such high quality that the ends (light gray loops) are thick as one could expect. Seams & stitching: perfect 10, no issues, no loose stitches and no problems of any kind after multiple uses. Bottom line: this is a very well manufactured product for which they used top quality materials and manufacturing process. I highly recommend this product. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sunferno Tree Saver Winch Strap 35,000 lbs Certified | Confidently Rig Your Winch Line | 3 inch x 8 Foot | Heavy Duty Emergency Off-Road Towing and Recovery Rope Winching Accessory for 4x4 and Truck - TICONN 10 Ton Winch Snatch Block Towing Pulley Blocks 22,000 LBS Capacity, Heavy Duty Offroad Recovery Accessory for Truck, Tractor, ATV & UTV - LIBERRWAY Shackles 3/4" (2 Pack) D Ring Shackle Rugged Off Road Shackles 28.5 Ton (57,000 lbs) Maximum Break Strength with 7/8'' Pin Heavy Duty D Ring for Vehicle Recovery, Orange --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/233649239-tree-saver-strap-for-winching-3x8-ft-35000-lb-winch](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/233649239-tree-saver-strap-for-winching-3x8-ft-35000-lb-winch) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
