ReaLife Machine Washable Area Rug - Living Room Bedroom Bathroom Kitchen Entryway Office - Padded Low Pile Stain Resistant Premium - Moroccan Diamond Tribal - Jax - Gray 5' x 7'

I searched high and low for a machine washable large area rug to replace my previous rug in this space (not particularly easy to wash) which I could no longer get completely clean from the stains and odors my 2 puppies left. I found most washable rugs to be $400-$500 plus $100-$150 for a rug pad go underneath. Additionally, the machine wash rugs were seemingly all neutral and/or muted colors (I assume to prevent fading from washing?)Because of the neutral couch, walls, etc in this room and the kitchen it opens up to, I really needed something with color. This rug is a beautiful color and highly pigmented! I don’t know how this will stand up to washing in the machine (or if it’ll fit in my regular sized washing machine) but so far I’ve shampood it and spot cleaned it with no problems! I’m sure it’ll fit in the larger laundromat wash if needed for an occasional full clean, and it’s not too heavy and easy to roll up so I don’t think it’ll be a hassle to transport for an occasional wash. Messes and spills are easy to pick up, and it looks brand new after! (It’s not a “distressed” color pattern but the color is slightly varied throughout unlike a solid colored rug that might show an outline of where it was spot cleaned etc.) It also doesn’t require the additional purchase of the rug pad underneath! If you flip the rug over you’ll see that there is a rubber layer under the rug, so not only does this prevent the rug from slipping and sliding, it also ensures that when I do shampoo it, no water is reaching the hardwood floors. Many of the “washable” rugs I found prior to this one were indoor/outdoor and I questioned how they would feel underfoot even though my first priority was cleaning. Although this rug is thin (of course, hence the machine wash) it does not feel straw-like or mat-like. It feels surprisingly soft under your feet despite being low pile!I searched for SO long for something easy to clean, with color and somewhat reasonably priced and I am thrilled with my purchase! This rug was better than I expected and I would highly recommend it — especially if you’re worried about cleaning up after pets or children. It didn’t come in an 8x10 like I previously had in this space but I happily sacrificed a few inches on each side with the largest size of this rug offered which was 7’6” x 9’6”. Would absolutely purchase this brand again!

Ordered in the Orange 4x6The rug is thin and would be better described as a mat with a velour type softness. Although this is super thin it somehow has a slight cushiness. The color was as shown in the ad, my pictures are extremely close to reality as well. I’d describe it as a kind of rusty orange or some may even see it as a brick red. The white design/diamond parts are soft white, not stark and there are slight color variations throughout that add a texture and interest. I have not had a need to wash it yet but it is easy to vacuum. While it is non-slip, I still placed small non slip tabs on the corners as it tends to shift slightly over time since it’s in a heavy traffic area in my home. I will update if any problems arise after laundering but so far I’m very pleased with the color, feel and quality. To compare, I had a rug-able rug before this and while the rugable rug has some great designs and is thicker due to the rubber and Velcro type pad underneath, this Real Life rug has been less hassle to lay down and keep in place. If your goal is aesthetics and washability rather than comfort then this would be the way to go but if you’re expecting plushness or warmth then I’d recommend skipping it. I was seeking the former and so far I love it.

I’m very impressed with this rug - it is so soft! It’s just as described and the color is spot on with the picture. I’m using it under my office chair and so far it’s holding up nicely. There was basically no smell when I unpacked it, and I have yet to wash it so I can’t comment on how that goes. Overall, it’s beautiful and I definitely recommend!

I have dogs that mark inside the house competitively so washable rugs are mandatory. This rug is a nice pattern, large size, and I had success with washing the rug at home. The only thing that I don’t like is the rug’s backer. There is no grip so it easily slides around and I’m always adjusting it.

Great color, subtle southwestern style, washable, no smell, arrived promptly, tons of compliments already, and even come with padding/a non-slip surface on the back. Huge win, absolutely love it.

I was very pleased with this rug at my entryway. The coloring is rich, and I love the "weathered" look in the weave. I was looking for a rug that did not have white, white in it; this white is creamy and perfect. The rubber backing keeps it from slipping around easily, while at the same time allowing me to shift it as needed. However, I might order corner grips to keep it for sure in place. One of the best things about this rug and the way it was delivered is that it rolled out flat immediately. I also love the fact that these rugs are made from recycled plastic.Most impressed with this company.

This rug adds some style to my apartment with an open-concept living room. It is the focal point of just about everything and is also the pathway out onto the plant-heavy balcony. Between foot traffic, pet traffic, and tracking in leaves and dirt from the balcony, it is holding up so well. It's quick to spot clean when we get a stain on it and vacuums easily (the instructions say to vacuum without the beater bar, but I found that did little, so have gone back to vacuuming with it) . I haven't tried putting in the washing machine yet. It has a non-slip back, but I notice at the end of a busy day, it has moved around a bit on the vinyl "wood" floors.

It's not a real rug, more like a cheap mat ... I love the printed pattern, but I really wish it was a real woven rug and it's not. I'll keep it but I kind of regret buying it because it's ultra THIN.

J'ai reçu ce tapis il y a une semaine et je l'ai trouvé magnifique, une vraie œuvre d'art !Côté anti-dérapant, pour l'instant, rien à y redire, c'est parfait ! Même quand le chien passe en courant dessus il ne bouge pas... Après il prend pas mal les poils, je dois l'aspirer presque tous les jours. En tout cas, j'en suis très satisfaite. J'attends maintenant de voir ce qu'il rend après un passage à la machine pour donner mon verdict final ;)
