Update: I chose to return the hall tree rather than risk losing out on the warranty by trying to fix it myself.Original review:I'm writing this review at the tail end of the assembly process.As shown in the attached photo, the provided screws are not long enough to go through the first piece of wood, let alone attach it to the second. And that's far from the worst design failure in this piece of furniture -- the entire backing attachment mechanism (screwing large plywood sheets with tiny screws to undrilled plywood strips) is beyond absurd. Crosley's website isn't helpful, returning an error when clicking through to the product manual (which I was hoping had some updated information).This hall tree is large and heavy, making it a real hassle to return, so I'm undecided on whether to break out my drill and pull some other fasteners out of my parts bin to attempt to make it work or just give up and send it back. I'll update my review once I'm able to come to a conclusion, one way or another.

Absolutely LOVE this hall tree! Extremely well made and a beautiful addition to our mudroom. I did rate this product at 3 stars for “easy to assemble” bc it took my husband 4 hrs to get it together, and he’s a professional carpenter. With that being said, I would still HIGHLY recommend this purchase to others. The end product is will worth the assembly time.

We purchased this to replace a closet by our garage entry way. It's a good size and seems sturdy.Assembly was not challenging and took maybe about an hour. Quite a bit of pieces!It looks good and serves its purpose. For the price, it was a win win.

Think Ikea stuff when putting this together. It was difficult to get the drawer put together, but finally got it after an hour. The box wasn't damaged when I received it, but the actual wood shelf was peeling apart. I used some wood glue to fix it, but there is still a noticeable crack. I would have returned it had it not been for it being heavy and cumbersome. Oh well, it works for what we need it for. I definitely wouldn't order again.

Solid piece and far better quality than anything from Homcom. I ordered two of these and the assembly instructions were very clear and detailed. I shipped them out of the country and they arrived with no damage. Well packed and constructed

Love the product. The only complaint I have is the tracks on the drawer came put on backwards! It took me forever to finally realize why the drawer wasn’t going in. After I removed them and flipped them it went in perfect. Idk why I was sent these with the tracks on backwards. But overall I love the product and it fits well in my laundry room.
