arrived fine i cant find out if this has the built in clutch feature anywhere i need to know before i pay to have it welded onto mywheelchair lift

What a back, arm, and neck saver! I can't imagine not having this anymore.

I purchased this from Camping World and I am extremely disappointed. Do not buy this tongue jack. The fuse connection is the weakest link. I had to cut it out and crimp the wires together bypassing the fuse system. Even with solid electrical connections it frequently does not work. You have to open the top and manually crank it to make it work. Once you manually crank it the jack seems to wake up and finally do what it was built for. It is very frustrating. One "feature" is a level on the jack to help position the height of the tongue but the level has no basis in reality. If they spent two dollars more on quality parts and 10 minutes more on engineering this might be a good product. As it is you will throw it out after the first camping trip and purchase another more reliable tongue jack.

was easy to install if not for the peculiar propane tanks deck on my trailer, which required cutting a small slice of the round base of the jack.Would have been better if the jack had some triangular shape (with rounded corners) and with the base toward the back.Also the cable doesn't have any connector attached to put thru the battery plus terminal.

Just to be clear...this is not a very heavy duty electric jack, nor is it intended to be.I have it installed on a fairly light trailer with a 370 lbs tongue weight and it does just fine. It even has enough extra to lift my trailer and car enough to get my equalizing bars on without fussing with the bar lever wrench....great...one less thing for me to do before taking off.I like it. Fairly quiet running even under load. Came with a fuse and one spare fuse. Not much of a bonus but many manufacturers wouldn't have even done that.Very good product so far and it looks pretty weather tight. I'll cover it when parked and when the trailer is stored...but that's normally what I would do anyway.
