Super Loud Solid Brass Hand Call Bell

Very helpful. My elderly father injured himself in a fall and needs someone close by when he wants to get up from his bed or chair or needs us to bring him something. He wears an in-house call button to summon me or my husband when we are not within hearing distance. However, the call button has been known to fail once or twice. This bell is a great back-up for peace of mind if that should happen again. It is easy to see, easy to grasp and solid but not heavy. The ringing tone is loud and clear; we joke that the entire neighborhood will know he has to use the bathroom if he would ever use it at night! A very good, basic solution, and totally non-tech!

We use this bell to call people back to the room where we give our retreats. It's a sturdy little thing with a nice loud ring. It is a great value!

I didn't know what this was called so I searched for a "hear ye" hand bell and found this. I used it on the Fourth of July, 250th anniversary of the founding of the U.S.A. Nice & loud. Handsome wood & brass construction. Built solid. Size is okay but it could be bigger (& therefore louder?). My only problem is that if I try to ring it rapidly, the clapper (dangling bit of metal that hits the bell wall) goes in a circle along the inside of the bell instead of striking it. But I guess it's not meant to be rung like a dinner bell.

These bells are fantastic! The sound quality is a pure sound and Ring very loud. The bell is crafted with a long handle and the bell it self is of good quality, which looks like it will last a long time. So happy that I purchased this bell. This would be great to have in a bedroom for a sick person if they need help, that’s how good the sound is.

Nice sound. I gave it to my daughter on her St Patrick’s day Wedding. 😃 It’d an Irish blessing. She has this on a shelf with her 8x10 photo. It’s the perfect size not to overwhelm Quality item

My wife enjoys having this to signal the start of happy hour, which is 4PM at our house. She gets crabby if she misses her daily champagne, so we are all grateful to hear the sound of the bell.

When they say this is a loud bell, they are not joking. This has a beautiful tone and is deafening. I bought it to use at sporting events but I refrained because this bell is shockingly loud for its size. Also a gorgeous look to it.
