I purchased vanilla bean grade b and it was extremely dry. I will never buy from this company and again. Spent too much money to get such poor product. I’ve purchased grade b from other companies and it was satisfying. But not this time.

Sorry for the delay in the review update but this Vendor did follow through with send a replacement package of some lovely plump and very fragrant vanilla beans. We are truly looking forward to tasting our home extract this fall baking season!==========They quickly replied and informed me they will be sending me a replacement package.=========The beans were not as advertised. I purchased 2 (20 pc) vacuum sealed packages that were supposed to be 6-7" in length. I guess a few in each package met that specification but most were 4-5" in length and they were also very skinny with only 1 of the packages having a good seal. I used the sealed package but I am hoping the unopened poorly sealed package of very dried out beans can be exchanged.

In March got 30 beans expiring in April.

These very dry and brittle, very small and only 18 beans instead of 20 that I ordered but didn’t get . I was very disappointed in the quality of them this time 😩 my last order of them was better . This package does not make me want to order them again .

The vanilla beans were in a plastic bag that had a hole in it. I could tell it had originally been vacuum sealed, but wasn’t any longer. It’s useless and not eligible for return.Update:Customer service sent a replacement. Great beans.

I am new to extracting vanilla but I do know that beans should be vacuum sealed. The seals on the three packages I bought are not vacuum sealed. When they arrived I wasn't able to get to them right away so I placed them in a large mason jar until I could. Today is that day and I was sad to find that they aren't fully sealed. Also they appear to be very dry. Yes, they are grade B and dryer than grade A is expected. I bought three packages of these so that was not a cheap purchase. I don't know that these can be returned but I may attempt to do so.

They smell wonderful! I used them to make homemade vanilla extract. I set it up in April and have had my bottles sitting in the pantry since then, it's almost ready to use. The smell of the extract reminds me of a bottle I purchased in Punta Cana many years ago. I cannot wait to try it in my baking.

I have purchased a number of packages of Madagascar Vanilla beans from this company and have been very satisfied. Based on the description of them being plump, 6 to 7 inch, vanilla beans I purchased these instead. I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt that this was an anomaly and that I was just the unfortunate consumer who received the one package that slipped through quality control. As you can see from the picture they range from 3.5” to 5”. As they are not returnable I opened the package and discovered them to be both dry and thin with no evidence of vanillan crystals on the outside of any of the beans. Unfortunately this package will be going into the garbage as I will not waste a good bottle of over proof vodka to make vanilla extract. I am very disappointed! There should be some alternate mechanism other than product feedback to create accountability when a defective product is not returnable.Update:Without requesting it, this vendor STRONGUS, has reached out to me and offered a full refund. This confirms that it most likely was a temporary lapse in quality control. I both appreciate and respect that level of ownership and desire to satisfy their customers. My star rating for this particular package remains a 1, however my appreciation for STRONGUS is that they will have a loyal customer going forward. I in fact am about to use a package of their Madagascar grade a vanilla beans that I will definitely rate 5 stars as they are plump and ready to become an extract ...... in 3 months 👍🏻Thank you for the unsolicited refund and expression of regret.All the best,Andrew

Les gousses ne sont pas utilisables en pâtisserie car complètement sèches. Impossible de les ouvrir, elles sont dans un état lamentable.Je ne commanderai plus jamais car perte totale et retour impossible.
