My granddaughter started reading these in first grade and liked them, so I bought these to encourage her to read.

These are good books for beginners reading. My daughter's name is Eloise so she loves them. She asks to read the a lot. We did accidentally rip one but I think that's more to do with my destructive kids than the product.

It's a great set of starter books for pre-k - 2nd grade. I would recommend parents volunteer to donate a set of books, but ask first which ones the teacher already

Beautiful book

We have Elosie Takes a Bath and wanted more. These are simpler written but nice for a quick read when it's already 15 minutes past bed time at grandmas house!

My daughter is 3 and just discovered Eloise over Christmas. She's just starting to learn to read and these have been great! Perfect bedtime story length for a busy weeknight too!

great for young readers...too bad the art work is by an "imitator", notby hilary knight...still good, but not as acerbic as his drawings...eloise looks more bland and piggish than elfin and sharp...

I was expecting a full set but I only received a small book. Amazon customer service sorted a refund rapidly at least.
