After reading hundreds of comments on IRV2 and other forums, I really wanted to try this in my 2005 motorcoach. But I was worried about the coach age, negative comments and fails by some other users. But, plugged it in, downloaded app to my Kindle 10, and it worked. Instructions are very good, and helped me set up my dashboard how I liked it. Very flexible. Easy to see what your coach ECM will transmit (newer coaches will provide much more than mine). Even able to reset fault code for water separator after I failed to plug in the sensor after changing filters (this cost the same as Cummins wanted to just read the code). Very satisfied. Now on to keep improving my dash.....

Junk. Will not connect to BT on an iPhone11 or an iPad. Have restarted phone, ipad, and BT device. No joy. Both running iOS 13.5. App looks like it was made 15 years ago. Serious waste of money. Do not buy.

This adapter worked very well with an older Galaxy Tab 3 Android tablet and a 2004 motorhome with a Cummins ISL engine. No problems pairing the Bluetooth signals. The BlueFire for Motorhomes app is highly customizable. The developer has released app upgrades that added many features. You can download the app for free and try it in demo mode before you purchase the adapter. If you have used a somewhat similar product from another company to monitor diesel engine parameters, I think you will like this app/adapter much better! I wish I had found this one first!!

When I first got this unit and open the plastic case, the unmistakable smell of burnt electronics waft over me. I though I got a DOD unit at first due to how strong the smell was. Pluged it into my truck and it lit up. So I downloaded the android app and connected to the device. Found more then a few shortcommings on this product.You can NOT upgrade the firmware using the app. Like many people, I do not have a windows device due to ipad/iphone, android phone/tablet and Chromebooks make up my computing devices. Mine had version 2.12.If the app is NOT running, the device will fault out the truck leaving no speed, tech and other instruments due to "Error, no data link" on the dash. This means you can not use the unit driving down the road like the website says. This is due to if the app loses Bluetooth for any reason, like going to sleep or display goes off, the Bluetooth link is lost and "Error, no data link" will result. This may damage truck if it has an autoshift transmission. Or cause a transmission fault leading to a breakdown and tow.The device does not support the RP1210 standard, so you can NOT use Cummins INSITE, Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link, CAT Electronic Technician, and other engine software that use the RP1210 standard.The only good thing I can say about this unit is that it did work with the app and was able to read the transmission faults codes that are not displayed on the dash.

Misrepresented product features, only good thing was as a prime member I was able to get a refund for this product.

Works exactly as it should. Using in a 2002 Freightliner FL60 ambulance with a Cummins Diesel. Sometimes the blue tooth takes a while to connect...could be my S6 phone or the BlueFire.

Works as advertised. Easy setup on ipad with their app. One of the cheapest options out there to monitor your data!

This is my second one. A mechanic removed it and didn't put it back. I found out much later because the first one wouldn't reconnect, so I stopped using it. The replacement worked for awhile, then kept disconnecting then won't reconnect rendering it useless. I'm done and won't buy another.
