By far the best midi keyboard I've ever used.
This thing is incredible! The build quality is killer. Thick plastic on a steel plated bottom gives it the feel and weight of high end equipment. The keys legitimately feel like real piano keys and the knobs/buttons have a good feel/resistance. Let me tell you how good it feels going from a 25 to 37 keys. No more fiddling with the octave buttons every time you use it. The height of the keyboard is perfect if you plan to keep it on your desktop too. It has a built in sequencer, arpeggiator, chord progressor and transport controls that works with any DAW. Tons of ports and clock functions! It will connect and play nice with almost anything you throw at it. Also: It has a power switch. Those still exist and I'm here for it. Don't wast your time on those cheapo "mini" keyboards. They feel bad, are too tall to sit on your desk comfortably and don't have the necessary ports should you choose to play with synths, samplers and grooveboxes . Spend the extra pennies to get what you really want.

Rock solid, smooth interface, great price
Rock solid device, capable of much beyond what I need. Used for feeding out MIDI to an old Yamaha keyboard as well as a Behringer CAT synthesizer. Interfaces with Mac and Windows MIDI stuff no problem. Very nicely built, solid, not shaky or cheap, really smooth action on the keys and very playable. The ONLY goofy thing, this is very minor and this is pointed out in videos I've seen on the unit, is that the ribbons for the pitch and modulation will DEFINITELY be scraped or rubbed by the left hand during use, by accident. Just the nature of the design, if it gets too aggravating you can put a piece of cardboard over that area. Otherwise this is an amazing unit with expansive capabilities for what is relatively speaking a super low price.

Great well rounded MIDI Keyboard for beginners and pros
I will preface with : This is my first MIDI keyboard. I have been producing music (non professionally) for over 3 years now. I have always used my keyboard as my MIDI input device. I know basic-intermediate music theory and can mess around pretty well on the piano. I did NOT REALIZE how useful it would be to have a MIDI keyboard during my production sessions. I love it! Here are my Pro's and Con's. Keep in mind these are through the eyes of a beginner when it comes to any kind of major hardware. Pros: Compact size and very light 37 Keys is the perfect amount for me Arpeggiator is really nice and pretty intuitive Keys have a pretty nice weight Chord function is fun and the strum feature helps add a lot of depth and character to simple progressions Design is very pleasing to look at. Love the touch pitch and mod wheel on the sides. PRICE!!! Cons: Spacing between keys can make it hard to play wider chords. (fingers get stuck between black keys) A little challenging to get the hang of the sequencer and use it efficiently. Overall, amazing product at an amazing price. I love the device and will be using it for a VERY long time routinely during all of my production sessions. From the perspective of a beginner, I would wholeheartedly recommend this MIDI keyboard to all!

Great for beginners, even has tools to play the music for you!
This model compared to the original Keystep is well worth the extra price for untalented or still learning musicians, I'm guessing I'm both, who want to get into electronic music making. The chord mode and strum can add some great effects with simple singular note presses, and the scale you set makes sure you can't hit a wrong note! Just get it, it's built SOLID, feels great to use, and if you go from computer to proper synths, the various jacks on the back are all there to make it a great controller outside of just being a usb device.

Kinda hard to use the aftertouch well but it's good. Feels high quality and I don't have any complaints.
