Seems good quality and matches my cast iron fire surround. Easy to feed fire from without spillage

Thin metal & Sharp edge handles that broke in 2 months of use. Contacted seller & they reported expected wear & tear. My last scuttle lasted 9 years & this one 2 months. Heavy duty is far from reality you can see from the photo it is lightweight & flimsy. Cheaper than some but not for that life expectancy.

Was bigger than expected, it holds more coal and then of course makes it heavier to lift but we are pleased with it as it is good and sturdy :)

The product was damaged. There was a dent in it and a matching dent on the box. Clearly been treated roughly. Obviously not very sturdy. The ash shovel was an absolute joke. Not as shown in the picture but a flimsy little thing with a frilly edge, clearly only for decoration and not at all functional.Very poor value for money.

Well worth the money

This looks so good in our fireplace.Good quality, robust and well made, makes putting coal on the fire so much easier - and less messy!Looks sleek in design and can hold a lot of coal. We love it!

Certainly not heavy duty in my book but as good as most others. Real coal scuttles used to last a lifetime but this one will not and will rust and need replaced like others before. As good as you will get nowadays.
