This Brand
This brand is the best, i've tried other brands and this one is the only one i buy now. The Gulab Jamun is the best with many pieces in just 1 can. i eat them with my coffee in the morning. Love them!!!!

TOO SWEET
I am 17 and I can handle anything sweet! I saw these from watching a korean mukbanger always eating these saying these were her favorite deserts in a can! I researched them and was excited to try and they taste like pancakes that have soaked in syrup for way too long! The texture is too soft and wet and is just WAY TOO SWEET even for me! It is mostly because the dough had soaked up too much of that syrup! I think I should taste the authentic freshly made Indian gulab jamun instead of the canned version. Sorry😬

Ok in a pinch, but obviously nowhere near as good as you would get with fresh GJ
Canned GJ is ok in a pinch, but nowhere near as good as you would get at a wedding or a festival (or in-country of course). So yeah, I know we're talking about canned GJ here, but even for canned, this brand only half-way delivered. Firstly, these GJ gave us horrible gas. We've never had that with canned GJ, or any GJ for that matter. And yes, I made sure when I popped the lid on this can that I heard the in-rush of air. Making sure that you do the vacuum-seal air-test (and a visual / and sniff test) is essential before a taste test of ANY canned food, especially imported stuff. So we definitely didn't get a bad can. Plus, an actual bad can would have made us sick, not just super gassy. Anyway, outside of the unfortunate gaseous side effect - this brand of GJ was bland in taste. It lacked any cardamom spice notes, which is one of the best flavors in GJ in my opinion. So yeah, this GJ was pretty weak in taste all-round. Also, I know that GJ is a very sweet dessert, but the syrup in this can was somehow TOO sweet. Anyway, if you want strong GJ flavor, try another brand. If you want to have a massive fart-war with your friends or family, tank up on this stuff. lol... I've had a lot of different canned GJ over the decades and most were very good, even compared to fresh, but this stuff was below average so I won't be getting it again unless I need to spring a practical joke on the whole family. I think I'll wait for the next family vacation where we have to drive a long way. Move over taco bell, there's a new game in town. rofl
