I waited for 2 months before writing a review to test it. I have weak fingers, and the ones that hold tight at the top are too hard for me to move the spring-loaded bar. This one holds and is easy to move. I can grab the top easily and move the bottom as well. In fact, the bottom bar doesn't have to be completely closed to work. What a nice relief. The back is good quality and takes up no more space than any other and is smaller than a clipboard. I like it.

This is slick. Holds a standard sprial notebook with ease. The handle on the bottom is smooth moving. I am very pleaswd with the way it works.

I love this book holder. I bought it because I get a lot of large print books from the library. These books are thick and heavy to hold. So I needed a book holder to make reading more comfortable. I wanted something that holds the nook while I am lying on bed and makes it easy to set it up with each set of page turns. This fit the bill. The flip-up page stop holds the nook open even when the page distribution is lopsided due to being at the very start or very end of the book. I sometimes have to angle the book slightly to read the words that are close to the center of the pages, but it's not problematic. I am happy with the colors from which to choose and I like how it is lightweight and doesn't take up a lot of space either. Overall, a good product for the money!

I like this book stand for the fact that it is metal, therefore durable, more stable, and it folds almost flat, so it's great for backpacks. Good gift idea, especially since there are many colors from which to choose. The only downside I have found is that it does not perform as well with MASS MARKET paperbacks, but is good with TRADE paperbacks & hardbacks. Here are a couple of pictures of my book stand holding a MASS MARKET paperback I'm currently reading, for an example. However, I'm satisfied with the book stand, I recommend it because this is not a bad downside, and now I have a gift idea for a cousin that also is an avid reader! 😸👍🏻I also think that this book stand is a good value for the price, compared to equivalent book stands offered on Amazon.

Great stand. It’s just your basic, metal (non-toxic mdf, plastic etc.) book stand. I like to sit on the sofa and read but looking down for extended periods of time day after day has caused me quite a bit of neck discomfort and thoracic outlet syndrome. Reading using this book stand has provided much relief. I put a pillow on my lap and then set this stand on the pillow. It’s very stable. Works just as I’d hoped.

Very useful for books large and small, and our phones too. Solid steel construction with adequate girth to support larger books. The edges aren't sharp, but it is steel. So don't fumble-drop books on its edge like I did. I've put a ski cap over it for now. And it works as a useful bookend too. I need a ski cap without a whiskey logo to keep next to our Bible. ;) Thanks for reading. Hope the review helps.

This is a great little stand for many uses. Bought it to hold my diamond art and avoid neck strain. Expect to also use it for holding cookbooks and paperwork on my desk. Is sturdy and folds nicely to lay flat for drawer storage. Highly recommend.

I bought this so I would have something to keep my cross stitch patterns in place while stitching. It works great for that, and as a bonus I can keep my needle minders on it, so I don’t lose them. It’s lightweight and doesn’t take up much space in my needlework tote bag.

These things are great! They work well for hardcovers, but can do paperback as well. By themselves, the clips don't hold pages open that well, but nothing that a clear sheet of acrylic won't fix! (The one pictured is 12 x 16 inches, 3 mm thick. Something a bit smaller, like 8 x 12 inches, is better for portability. Won't rip your pages either, and protects your book from spills. Highly recommended as a pair!)
