I bought these for my dad for father's day and he loved them, I already have some and knew that he would love them. Needless to say I spoke with him yesterday and he said they are all charged up and ready to go and now all I need is a black out!! hahah. So I appreciate the small caps that go on the ends to turn them on and off and allow him to take the bulbs with him in his hand so if he's walking up and down the stairs its convenient for hime to carry. They are bright enough to use for daily use in a lamp and if the lights go out it staying lite is a plus. These were a hit for father's day so a 5 stars for us.

I like having lighting when the electricity is off. I wish the bulb could stay on longer than a couple of hours.

They didn't work like they should

These will be nice if and when the power goes out, however, they are not very bright. They put off a white light and as I said previously they are not bright, nothwere near a 60 watt bult. However, they will be nice to have if the power goes out. I am not leaving them in the lamp other than to charge them. They will be much better than a flash light if the power is out and they are easy to carry around. If I purchase any more I will shop around to find a brighter bulb.

I live in hurricane country and a friend told me about these and gave me one. I was so impressed that I bought a 6 pack. I have 2 charging in lamps and if we have another close call I’ll charge the rest of them.

I just received my lightbulbs yesterday, when I attached to the provided hanger attachment it lit up immediately, just as a 60 watt bulb would do. If you install them in a bathroom light fixture that has multiple bulbs the emergency bulb will NOT cut off when you shut the switch off. These bulbs are not compatible to remain permanently in fixtures that accommodate multiple bulbs. In this case for multiple bulb fixtures you will have to keep the bulbs charged and hang one up in a safe place, in the event that the power goes off otherwise it will run dead. For single bulb fixtures it can be installed and used as an immediate backup. I don’t think people are reading the instructions and specifications thoroughly before purchasing this product. It may seem like a hassle to some people but to me for the price and compared to having battery operated lanterns which require the ongoing expense of needing to replace the batteries or having to light candles all over your house which pose a fire hazard, not to mention the extra heat coming off them. These bulbs are definitely an affordable quick lighting solution in the event if your power should ever go out.

One light bulb did not work at all. Not as a regular light bulb, did not charge, not as a stand alone bulb.**UPDATE**The seller saw my review and was kind enough to issue me a refund for the defective bulb. This seller did not have to do this for me and I gave them 3 stars not 1 and they still wanted to make things right by me. Not many companies would do this. I greatly appreciate this from them!

In the box there are 6 lamps and 6 hangers.Each lamp, with nominal wattage of 12W, looks like a big LED bulb. It is wider and longer than a typical 15W LED bulb.It can be used as an ordinary bulb, switched on and off as usual. When there is a power outage, it recognizes it and keeps lighting (unless you switch it off), using the built-in rechargeable batteries as a power source. There hangers are equipped with socket and switch. You may screw a bulb into a hanger, lit or unlit it with switch, and hang it wherever you want, or just carry with you.I got 6 lamps, all worked properly. They did not stay on in a fuxture.So far, so good. But the were also problems.The worst thing about these bulbs is that they are dim. Visually, it also looks like that two BoRccdit rechargeable bulbs produce half as much light as an ordinary 15W led bulb. When I measured the light intensity, I got even slightly worse results. This bulb produced 24% (less than 1/4) of what an ordinary light bulb produces. Since a promised luminosity for a 15W led is 1251 lumen, this bulb probably produces 300 lumen or so.How long does it last? They promise 3-5 hours. I tested one lamp.After 1hr 30min, it was at 85% of its initial intensity.After 1hr 45min, it was at 70% of its initial intensity.After 2hr, it kept only 30% of its original intensity.After 2hr 25min, it kept only 1-2% of its original intensity.After 3hr 15min, it still produced very dim light. I could read if I held the light bulb no more than 5-10 cm (2-4 inches) away from the text.After 3hr 18min, it went off.So if you consider the time when the bulb keeps at least 50% of the original intensity, it is less than 2 hours.
