Great R/C radio
Very satisfied. Great radio for my 1/10 scale R/C car. I've had Futaba radios before and have always been happy with their performance. Highly recommend.

Awesome product! Affordable replacement and a upgrade to factory rx/tx!
For the price you can’t beat it especially when the receiver you get costs $50 by itself so you basically get the controller for $20 and it feels much better then a stock traxxas controller and has adjustments for everything you could wish for right on the controller which can all tuned on the fly! And the range is also great, can control your car without interruption for as far as you can see and further. Has a nice short antenna so it doesn’t have to be exposed outside of the body where it can be damaged. Very happy with this product and it arrived very quickly! Would highly recommend.

Great little 3-channel that is relatively inexpensive.
I've had no issues with this transmitter/receiver as a whole. For the price, you are getting a reputable brand and feels pretty nice in the hand and is comfortable to use. It is very basic, but is fine for typical RC cars. The range is very good. I do have a couple of niggles:- The steering pad slides off the wheel pretty easily. Fixed it with a bit of adhesive, but I would have expected a bit better from a name brand (see below).- The access door that hides the extra controls is extremely fiddly to open and close. It would not be a big deal if it weren't for the fact that it also hides the power switch! If it was only the trim and other adjustments in there, it would not be an issue. However, having to open and close it each time I use it is frustrating enough that I just removed the door entirely.- Can only pair with one receiver at a time.Let's be honest...there isn't much here that you don't get with a "DumboRC" or other equivalent for less than half the price. In fact you get many more features, like 4 or even 6 channels, channel mixing, gyro stabilization, etc for less than $40 on their X6. The main downside to them is they feel a bit cheap in the hand and there is effectively no warranty or support. If you have several cars and want to let others drive along side you, you can pick up a half dozen DumboRC X4/X6's for what one higher-end transmitter costs that can pair with multiple cars. Futaba needs to up their game a bit, even at the low end.

Perfect upgrade from 27mhz transmitter.
I bought this transmitter and receiver to replace the original 27mhz AM set that came with my Traxxas Stampede XL-5. Installing the receiver in the truck and setting everything up was super easy - about 10min in total. Just remove the two screws that secure the receiver case cover, lift the old receiver off of the double stick tape that holds it down, put the new one in its place, plug everything in and re-install the cover. Linking the transmitter and receiver was an easy process. Since the antenna wire on the receiver is much shorter, I trimmed down the antenna tube which also makes for a nicer appearance. For some reason the throttle and steering controls worked in reverse from the original transmitter, but simply moving the two reversing switches on the Futaba solved that problem. The quality of the Futaba transmitter feels the same as the Traxxas, which means that both of them feel sort of cheaply made. But I expect it will hold up just fine. I have not had a problem with the foam ring sliding around the wheel that others have mentioned. Overall I am very pleased with this transmitter and I am also enjoying the increased operating range.

Futaba that I remember.....
I had a Futaba RC pistol grip radio nearly 35 years ago and I bought based on reputation. And I have not been disappointed. Futaba is still my preference.

Great Transmitter
Bought this to rejuvenate one of my old RC trucks from when I was a kid to play with my son. Price was great, and since I didn't need servos, this was perfect. I had no problems getting this to work, and the range is fantastic. I live in a busy neighborhood, and did not notice any interference. I also didn't see any interference between my other 75 mhz transmitter when running them at the same time. This is a no-nonsense transmitter that does everything you need for running an RC car/truck.

Nice entry level unit. Works well and the price was right. My only complaint is that the "Futaba" badge on the right hand side of the TX will not stay on. I plan on picking up another one for our other car.******Just had the second one delivered (One month later). Awesome little transmitter. Highly recommend.

Good Value
It feels light and cheaply made but its a definite step up from the radio that came with my car. All in all, it works as advertised and the price point seems bang on for what you get. A little bit of bounce back in the steering if you let it 'fly' back to center but absolutely not an issue for me. Very Happy.

Futaba is good product.
Futaba has been around for very very long time but the price is bit high, it's use to be $69 and it's very hard to install and remove the battery.I use Futaba for all my RC; servo and transmitter, very good and reliable, working every time when you need it. I had 4 of them now.
