Excellent little all in one stereo
Ok so to start with I've had the stereo a little over a week so I am not giving a long term review but more a first impressions.i bought this to mainly play cd's with decent sound quality and at 50w for an all in one it delivers in spades no distrortion even at higher volumes I listen to mainly metal so it's pushing it to its limits.the eq consists of a few different modes I'm not sure how different they are tbh hard to tell so I have left it on the one I thought was the best all good.the cd functions great the drive is not noisy the internet radio is awesome dab is the weakspot my reception is not the best but I can't get many stations at all this maybe down to the pathetic short bit of thin wire Philips provide(come on Philips this was over £200 system a telescopic aerial wouldn't have been that expensive).the stereo looks good and premium as it should the remote is very intuitive I didn't read the instructions just figured it out easy enough.i would say if you are after a more portable stereo system but don't want to sacrifice sound quality you could do far worse than this.

Very Good Second Hifi
I needed another music source in my sitting room. I’ve used an Echo for the last couple of years and finally got fed up of patchy Wi-Fi dropping the radio mid-Popmaster.I looked at various other systems, and this seemed to tick most boxes for me.I thought the price was maybe a little higher than it could have been, so used the Warehouse offer for a ‘Used-Like New’ unit as it was twenty quid cheaper. I’m glad I did, in the main. However, the packaging was exactly how I expected (opened previously, bit of damage) but the unit itself was both very dusty and also has marks on the speaker grilles (see photos) that won’t come off. I’m not bothered per Se, but I don’t think this exactly matches the description. That’s down to Amazon, not the product, though.Setup was, honestly, the easiest ever of any device I’ve introduced to the network. I screwed on the after market aerial that was suggested as bought by others, and inside of 60 seconds, I was connected to my Wi-Fi. I used the WPS button on my Sky router and connection was rapid. It took just a couple of minutes to setup the DAB+ and FM radio, with just another minute or so to get my Spotify connected from my phone, too.The unit is a nice size, and gives good sound output given it’s proportions. The remote is a good size and shown next to my iPhone 13 Pro Max for reference. Sound goes up really surprisingly loud. I’ve read comments about the volume, but my sitting room is 40m2 with a vaulted ceiling, and this unit fills the area easily. I will say that I feel the Spotify compression really is noticeable and Guns & Roses Appetite For Destruction sounded a little muddy, with reduced headroom. This was especially noticeable on the drumming in Mr Brownstone & My Michelle. With CD and radio this seemed less pronounced. Elton John’s greatest hits disc sounded excellent. The piano came through very well, with a nice soundstage separation. In summary, this is a very good second room hifi. I don’t have the time or energy to setup a proper multi room resource, nor a music server with wireless speakers everywhere. For me, this unit is right in the sweet spot I wanted. If you need a second system, and find the numerous options a little bewildering, you could do worse than this. For me, internet radio is a bonus and no more, so I haven’t included this as a part of my review. For sub-£200, this is a very passable stereo system. Recommended.

Good for a micro system
Needed to get a smaller and more modern system for the living room. The spec is quite impressive and at 50W is probably at the top end of power output for a mid-price micro system, even if this is Music Power and not RMS. Easy to set up, clear display, features DAB, Bluetooth, Spotify, Podcast, FM, CD, USB, headphone socket (and on the front!), alarm and sleep timer. All the functions can be accessed on the unit itself or the remote control. Nice feature is the mute function so you can quickly silence it if the phone rings. What's not to like?Critical comments are: CD tray noisy when loading or ejecting, sound profiles are chosen from a pre-set menu (no individual treble/bass settings). Perhaps the room is not filled at full volume, but it's a micro system, so to compare against a separates system where the speakers can be positioned where you want them is probably a little unfair.Does what it says on the box, fits the bill for my purposes fine.
