## Questions & Answers

**Q: Size of thethread attachment 5/8"?**
A: Yes it is.

**Q: Does this have the Prop 65 label on it? The one that says the materials have been known to cause cancer in the state of california?**
A: Yes, it has the prop 65 label on it, but no information as to what chemicals or the amount. I returned mine because the return process is painless and there are other similar stands out there at similar price points without these chemicals.

**Q: What is the diameter of the base?**
A: Just under 6.5 inches. It has a heavy base and very stable to hold any microphone.

**Q: Does one have to add weight plates to preven heavey mic toppling over? If so, what is the diameter of the shaft?**
A: No extra weight needed. I have two Samson MD5 stands and mounted with an EV RE-20 microphone and shock mount. The base is heavy enough to easily support this combo. Shaft diameter is about 1/2" threaded metal.
