This chest was not easy to put together largely due to poor instructions, but I did it. The main problem was that the screws were not identified. If you know how to identify different screws, this shouldn’t be a problem for you. I was able to figure out the different types of screws via the internet, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. It just took extra time. The top chest was not easy to attach to the middle section because the points of attachment were in awkward locations. If you have small hands (I do, as I’m a woman) or are super handy (I’m not!), it shouldn’t be a problem, though. The chest arrived in good condition with one exception. And that is that the bottom door was not attached to the frame on the top right corner. So I had to bend the metal tab back to get it back in. The metal was very easy for me to bend (I’m not very strong). And so this isn’t a super sturdy, high quality chest like the more expensive ones you see in Lowes, Menards, etc. Overall, I’m happy with the chest, although it is smaller that I had envisioned (yes, I did look at the dimensions; I’m just not good at visualizing sizes even when I use a tape measure). It suits my needs perfectly. I don’t use tools a lot, though. I don’t think the chest would hold up well to frequent use.

After reading reviews, I was expecting a flimsy and potentially shipping-dented tool chest. The tool chest was delivered without any dents or damages. Assembly instructions are vague but easy to assemble for the typical DIYer. Tool chest is compact, width and height, and not heavy-duty compared to what is sold at the box-stores. Great for limited work space area

This is s good entry level rolling toolbox for me as I just fix my cars when they break and only have occasional house fixing up to do. If I was opening drawers and the doors every day, I imagine I would want something that opened smoother. I also didn't want to spend $1000 on a professional tool box and this suits my needs and looks good. I would recommend this for anyone who has been storing tools randomly here and there. It's really going to save space and help me organize Pros: Lots of drawers that open smoothly Looks good if not sent with blemishes Rolls easily (but rollers do not have ball bearings) Cons: Assembly instructions are challenging and do not tell you which size screws to use where. A foot long scratch on the door despite no damage to the packaging. I contacted the seller regarding the blemish, let's see what happens..I'll update review with their response. UPDATE: 2 weeks later seller was quick and generous to resolve the issue. I am now VERY pleased with this toolbox and would buy again.

1. The packaging was high quality so nothing was bent or broken when I received it. 2. The instructions are not helpful and you'll need magnifying glasses to see the diagrams. They tell you hardware to put in which hole but they never labeled the hardware so you don't know what screw or nut they are talking about. And it's hard to figure out. 3. The holes don't line up correctly so I had to drill new holes. Also the holes were not wide enough for some of the screws and bolts so I often stripped out the hardware or left it half way sunk into the holes. It's the worst product I've seen like this. 4. The sheet metal was thick, durable and well-painted. The cabinetry is nice and the drawers feel sturdy.

The tool chest arrived quickly and even though the box was a little beat up, none of the parts were damaged as they were packed very well. Assembly was not bad at all (I had my reservations after reading some of the reviews). As some have mentioned, if you want to be able to open the top drawers without opening the top hatch you need to make a small modification. There is a flat ruler-shaped piece which slides up and down when you open and close the top hatch. All you have to do is push out the pin holding this flat piece to the hatch lid. I used an old nail and a hammer to drift the pin out and then removed the flat locking piece. For my application, I don't care about not being able to lock the drawers so this was a quick and easy solution for me. I would definitely recommend if you are trying to find a tool chest for domestic use without breaking the bank.

Excellent product. It's much smaller than what you might buy at Home Depot. Took a while to assemble. If you get just one box delivered, don't be discouraged, all parts are inside the unit.

There's nothing great at all about this tool box. Flimsy metal. Drawers don't stay locked very well. Not very sturdy. Drawer handles are already bending. The box is quite small. It is very easy to assemble with an adjustable wrench and a Phillips head screwdriver. If you need this to use in a professional setting do not buy this. Might be ok for home use.

This is somewhat smaller than most of what Ive seen on market, but it is ideal for my use. I just needed something with wheels and a reasonable amout of space. Assembly wasnt too bad, except one set of the self tapping screws. The holes werent large enough I had to drill them larger which wasnt a problem for me.

Bought this as a gift for someone who works in auto repair, and they love it. It was easy to assemble, and the storage space is perfect for organizing tools. One small heads-up: they spent a while looking for the drawer key since it was tucked away in a hidden spot — so maybe check carefully before panicking 😄. Overall, great quality and super practical.
