These are a true size - I take a UK 5 normally, so these (UK 6) are the tiniest bit long on me. However, the front of the sandals isn't generous and if you're anything other than a standard/slim foot width, you'll end up with feet looking like sausages, and with grooves 'cut' into them. The straps are quite soft and there's decent padding on the underside, but as feet swell and/or as you have the sandals on for a long time, they will mark your feet.The inner sole has decent padding and the wedge is tapered enough that there's no huge pressure on the ball of the foot, but I'd wear a removable gel pad with these if I were wearing them for any length of time. The sandals are quite heavy, but not so much that they give me a stitch in the middle of my sole. The strap at the back isn't the most generous, but it's positioned around the back of the heel, not the ankle, and once fastened, it does hold the sandal securely and there's none of that 'lurching' and no slipping that sometimes happens with slingbacks.Unfortunately, despite a lot of packaging, clips, cardboard and tissue paper, then a box and Amazon's outer box for shipping, these shoes had damage on both wedges. Luckily the most damage is on the inner side of the left sandal, though the damage on the right sandal is pretty noticeable. Worryingly, there's barely any grip on the soles, so these are not shoes to be worn in anything other than dry weather, and metal grates and the likes will need to be avoided for fear of slipping.I'm confused as to why the shoes vary in price, which doesn't happen with other retailers and especially not with good old M&S, which I use for staples. It makes no sense to me that a smaller size that uses a smaller percentage of materials in the making, costs more than the largest size, but it's Amazon, so who knows?I would have been happy to pay about £15-£18 for these, as they're on a par with F&F/Primark/Peacocks own-brand items, which sell for around this price, and even M&S has most seasonal staples for around the same price, for better quality. I would not pay the current asking price, based on quality and how they arrived damage, which is a fair indication of how they'll end up over time.

These sandals are stylish and were really comfortable to wear despite having a fairly chunky wedge heel-you never feel unstable in them. The materials are all synthetic with a resin sole whereas I usually prefer leather, but I have to say given these sandals are really a set of interconnected straps I didn't find this so much of a problem as I usually do. I would observe that the sizing is not very generous-my wife would usually get into a 6 quite easily, but here a 7 was the right choice-perfect in length and with enough width to make them comfortable and not pinching across the foot or toes. The black colour is classic and gives you maximum options to match up with different outfits. The pricing is in the mid-range and seems broadly correct. The sandals come very well packaged and protected in their own box. A good choice if you want to add some stable height and style to your shoe collection.

Bunion wearers stay away, these shoes are not your friend.They are true to size but not the most flattering. A wedge shoe with straps which you just slip on.Ideal for anyone who likes to have a little height but can’t handle heels. There isn’t much support as there is just a strap around the back of heel, so easy to slip off, which could cause an injury.

Not very comfortable unfortunately as they look really quite nice and would’ve been perfect with a particular outfit I had in mind. Was really very sad that after only a few minutes of wear they were almost unbearable so I had to take them off ...
