These are more than capable. I'll be using these for years and years so long as I don't misplace them. Just be aware that the spring mechanism is a bit overpowered. When you unhook the safety latch you need to keep a firm grip on the handle end. Not a deal breaker, just something of note. The cutting end is good quality metal and I expect it to never need sharpening if all I ever do with it is cut chicken wire.

I'm a widow with adult kids who live away. Needed to cut some heavy wire screen for a garden fence. I was familiar with this type of product around the farm growing up and then with the husband's occupation. Knew this was what I needed...if it was of a good quality. Surprise! It is! Cut that screen as easily as scissors with paper.The only negative thing is how big and awkward it was to handle with my small hand. But don't worry, Ladies. You will figure it out.

Fairly easily cut through metal ID tag. Difficult to hold for small hands. Luckily not a problem for me (average size).

I bought them to cut aluminum drains, but I found some other jobs where they came in handy. They're clean cut and have good ergonomic handles. It's a great tool in general, and I recommend it to anyone in the mechanical or electrical profession who needs a lot of cutting. They were cut perfectiy

I needed something for crafting and cutting through thick wire. These do the job perfectly. They are a bit difficult to use if you have hand issues, as I do. I do not believe they are very ergonomic. For some projects, I need to have my hubby do the cutting because of my hand issues. I am satisfied with my purchase and they do what I wanted them to do.

This is the best scissors I've ever bought. There's almost no force in breaking 28 gauge galvanized steel! The scissors are made very well. When I use them for a long time, there will be no red scars on my fingers

I bought these to cut a piece of fabric. I was using my kitchen scissors, but they were hurting my hand so I got these after reading the reviews.These are horrible!!!! They will not cut through fabric regardless of what they claim!!!The smell of the scissors was the worst part! The instructions were all Chinese and the odor was a strong chemical smell. I tried to wash them, too. I hate returning things so if I do IIt must be horrendous
