Digi-Pas DWL2000XY-SW Professional Software Version for 2-axis Proximity/remote Display & Data Logging

obviously this is more meant for CNC machines and heavy equipment, but I'vebeen using those cheaper digital levels to level pool tables. I was always getting frustrated about the repeatability on most of the items and those phone apps are a joke. Even though it's not detrimental that it be exactly level, it's still pretty important.I'm constantly leveling these machines since we move them fairly often.The one thing I really hated about the box digital level I used previous to this was it was really hard to read since there was no back light. Another one I purchased only measured to the tenths spot.With this level there is no second guessing, since you know it's right (I've checked several times). The repeatability is always there, just make sure your going back to the same exact place and put both your hands on it to keep it still. The display is in color and extremely easy to read, no more shining a light on it to read where the level is!!Edit: my biggest complaint with this item is the way the battery compartment is put in. It's made of plastic and eventual wear and tear will cause the tab/s to break. They need the screw type like the their cheaper dwl1500xy model.

This thing is stupid expensive. But the repeatability is there. I'm a stickler for details, quality, precision, and accuracy. This delivers all.The other $60 digital levels for sale here are junk. Suck it up and buy this one if your leveling a CNc machine or other precision equipment.If you're framing a house, you don't need this. 😉

I just received this unit and promptly set about leveling a flat pad used for measuring corner weights and setting the suspension settings on race cars. What a time saver! It is consistent, that is repeatable, and very intuitive to use. I would definitely recommend this item and I would purchase it again.

It is a great level with an easy to read display. The firmware upgrade was as easy as plugging in your mouse, just follow the onscreen prompts. My only complaint is they don't offer the PC-Sync basic software on the website. They offer the professional upgrade, but you need the basic before you can upgrade. Hopefully just an oversight on their part, but as of now, anyone with the 2000XY series is out of luck!

This a compact, easy to use, and accurate level. I use it for installing pool tables.
