Travel Tangoes - Animals

These are terrific puzzles and the magnetic surface together with the snap closure makes them perfect for travel or tougher kids who might otherwise have difficulty hanging on to the pieces. I have a set of my own purchased many years ago and just bought a set for a friends kiddos who are 6 and 7 who already love tangram type puzzles. They will love these!

My daughter is in first grade and her teacher taught them to do tangrams... so Santa brought her and her sister each one of these books. They are awesome! The magnetic board is super strong and the book is great quality. We especially like the way it shows you a puzzle and then give you the solution on the back... they usually need some help. These are a really nice size to take into a restaurant or Dr's office.

Love this travel game. Keeps children and adults entertained during car rides or at home. I Highly recommend this game for anyone 6 and up.

My six year old daughter is a very logical child and likes to play with challenging toys that require a lot of thinking and concentration. This fits the bill perfectly. The best part is that it is easy to transport. We take it on trips with us both for a distraction in the car and also for something to do when we are bored in hotels. The puzzles aren't too challenging, but they keep her busy for a long time. She never gets tired of this.

I purchased this little travel game for my 5-year-old son to use on an airplane. I like that he had to be a little creative when trying to build the animals from the shapes. He wasn't able to complete any without looking at the "cheat sheet" on the back of each card, but it didn't seem to make the game any less fun for him. The pieces are magnetic and the cards are all attached, so the whole thing folds up nicely into the little book and snaps shut, making it really easy to travel with. I'm giving it 4 stars because it wasn't my son's favorite activity and didn't come out of his backpack nearly as often as his Kindle. It didn't hold his interest for too long, but I think it was a nice change from the electronics and well worth the money spent.

Held the interest of my 6 year old for about 30 mins on a plane ride, so I consider that a win! My 9 year old did 2 puzzles and moved on to a different activity. Small enough for travel, which is what I wanted, but not so tiny that the pieces were lost in minutes. I appreciate that they are magnets so we didn't have to worry about them sliding off the board.

I bought two of these as gifts - for a 5 year old and an 8 year old - both the children (different families) and their parents are very happy with the Tangoes. Fun and a challenge to use and I give them another plus since they are magnetic and stay in place. Highly recommended for children, adults and seniors. Also a good travel companion.

small pieces makes it difficult for little hands to manipulate them, also not so easy to quickly identify the pieces and follow the pictures to create an animal. my son is a pretty smart 4 year old, who learned to read all by himself, but he' s having a hard time w/ this toy and so he looses interest... perhaps would be better for older kids. pro: it's great to take along in travels for it is small and pieces really dont fall of the board
