Women's Rayon Spandex High Waist Shirring Maxi Skirt with Pockets

Pretty decent quality for the price. Love the pockets. I wanted a maxi-skirt that didn't reveal panty-lines or dimples and this fit the bill. I'm usually a solid medium, (5'6" 145lbs) and it fit just fine.

I have 2 of these skirts and love them...one black and one print. I ordered a dark gray and red....they aren't even the same skirt. These last skirts came from China!! They are mid calf, A-line, and have a tie at the waist. Does this picture look anything like the skirt described??

Bought a second one in the purple, same size and it was 4 inches shorter and a size smaller!!! Not happy.

I am 5'5, 180, apple shaped, and the XL was TOO LARGE AND TOO LONG for me. You can easily go down a size. Folded over, it still hit the ground in 2" heels. Folding over covers the pockets, by the way. There is a lot of material around the waist. Not so good for a "Apple shaped", but would look good on "Pear" or "Hourglass" shaped tall women. I also bought a brown one and washed it to see if it would shrink. It DID NOT SHRINK as I hoped for, but seemed even longer after hanging to dry.The material is also very WRINKLY, so it didn't have a nice polished look after driving and sitting a while at work. The tan looking color comes a little lighter than pictured. I will tailor it to fit me and just wear it around the house, because it is very comfortable.

I am a size 6, 5'8", 137 lbs., and the small fits perfect. It washes well in cold water and hang to dry. No wrinkles or need to iron. Love the pockets. Purchased several others in different colors. I always get compliments and feels so comfortable (like wearing pajamas). Looks great with boots or flats. I don't understand issues about the length - - the material is thin and you can scrunch up or fold over the cinched waistband to make shorter or longer. This is thin, jersey fabric. Now that it is getting colder in the bay area, I wear fleece lined leggings underneath and a long slip.

I bought 3 of these (theoretically 2 different brands, but in reality identical) for a mission trip to Malawi. I wore each one every third day for a month, so they got quite a bit of use. They got hand washed in a bucket after every use.Having pockets was the one redeeming quality these skirts had. The fabric felt nice and light, but was completely impractical: These skirts picked up dirt so easily, attracted burrs and thorns, got snagged on everything, were hard to hand wash, soaked up water like crazy and took forever to dry.The elastic wore out pretty quickly, by the end of the trip I couldn't put anything heavier than a pen into the pockets without the skirt falling down to the floor.In case you were wondering: I had 1 other skirt with a different fabric, which did none of the above under the same circumstances.

I am tall (5'8"), so it is difficult finding skirts that are long and not straight, tight, or have long slits. I love this skirt. It is the perfect weight of material, plenty full, and hangs nicely. A bonus is that there are pockets! I can't remember the last skirt I had with pockets! I ordered the red, and it was a nice bright red - perfect for Christmas. I will definitely be ordering more in other colors.
