Perfect Coat Shed Control Shampoo for Dogs, 16-Ounce

I guess I haven't been grooming my Australian Shepherd/Lab mix properly over the past couple of years. She has one of those dense coats with an undercoat that almost has to be plucked out instead of brushed out when she sheds in the spring. Well I bought this shampoo hoping it will help reduce the amount of hair build up in our house. I think its going to do the job for sure but first I have to brush and vacuum the dog as well as the house because this shampoo is working so well. I have only used it once so far and finally it seems like years worth of undercoat is finally coming off of my dog like it should have been all this time. I am definitely going to use this shampoo frequently with the fluffy dog as well as on the other two dogs whose coats aren't as thick but I still think it will help them shed during the bath and not as much in the house anymore.

I love this shampoo and have used it for years. It has a light pleasant scent that I like and my dogs don't seem to hate. It cleans very well. As far as I can tell it has absolutely no effect on how much my dogs shed (no more so than any shampoo). However, I have 3 black dogs (3 completely different breeds), and this is the ONLY shampoo I have ever used that does not result in nasty dandruff. So despite apparent lack of "shed control" this is the only shampoo I will use on my dogs.

This shampoo leaves no scent on my dogs. But definitely does reduce shedding.! I have 2 dogs: Beagle/German Shepherd mix and a French Bulldog/Pitbull mix and this shampoo leaves them both so soft. The consistency is good and I didn't need to use a lot for a soapy lather. I wish it left a good smell but I would buy again.

I love the Perfect Coat Deshedding Shampoo. It smells great, and it's reasonably priced! However, I do feel it's kind of unfair that the minimum quantity has to be two bottles, and we are charged for both of them. I feel the minimum quantity should be one bottle, or if we must buy two bottles (at least), we should be charged only for one bottle.I love shopping for things I need and want on Amazon, but I chose to buy Perfect Coat Deshedding Shampoo from Ebay instead since you can order just one bottle if you'd like. It never hurts to order two, but people should be able to order just one if they'd like, or buy two bottles and be charged for one bottle. Amazon, if you want me to order this shampoo from your store, please change the minimum quantity to one.

We have to bathe our dogs (3 cute little boogers) AT LEAST once a week because they love to dig and get into trouble. This shampoo smells amazing and gets them nice and clean. No irritation problems that we've noticed yet. We are now ordering our second bottle.

This shampoo works very well on my Chiweenie and keeps her shedding to a minimum. The price on here is way cheaper than in the stores

Smells great. Easily rinses out of dog's long hair. I've used the Perfect Coat Shed Control for a few years now and wouldn't use anything else to bathe my 75lb mutt. ( : Please note that it's not noticeable if the shampoo works to decrease shedding, but I'm not sure anything truly works for that. Get a Labradoodle?

So lovely. The scent isn't too strong but it's very noticeable. Your dog will become a nice walking air freshener for a day or two. Don't know about the shed control, our beagle doesn't shed very much to begin with, but the easy rinsing is super great.

smells good, not overpowering, don't believe it does anything for shedding less though

My dog sheds a lot. After one use I noticed a reduction in the amount of fur that accumulated on our hardwood.I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

It's excellent. The hair is really silky.
