Great starter pedal, built like a tank!
As multi effect pedals go, this is an incredible bargain! Whilst the effects aren’t the top of the line, with some time and patience you can get some really great tones out of this, especially when combined with 3rd Party IR’s.The main selling points for me where its flexibility for both bass and guitar, the compact size, array of built in effects, and it’s build quality - I was amazed by all of these, especially for the price. There are a wide array of distortion pedals, effects pedals, amp and cab sims which means you can really get some solid tones once you sit down and take the time to fine tune everything. The preset tones aren’t amazing (as is the case for every multi effects pedal), but there really are some outstanding patches built in, particularly within the realm of cleaner tones. It is so tiny that it can fit in a guitar / bass bag and means you can travel light, perfect for travel; and its full metal body means this thing is built like a tank, and could easily take a beating and the abuse of live and rowdy gigs. The expression pedal is extremely solid and feels like it will last years, and the ways in which you can program it to an array of parameters is really cool, it’s almost as if having a 3rd foot switch if you are tactical about how you set up your presets.Of course this is by no means a top of the line product, but it’s not supposed to be and doesn’t have to be. It is well built, versatile, and affordable. It is perfect for those starting out, looking for something portable, or for use as a backup - I highly recommend Valetone and the GP-100!

What a great buy!
I am an amateur guitarist, and have been learning for years. As such, I have tried a great number of effects pedals, both individual and multi effect pedals, with varying degrees of success, but being on quite a strict budget, I have never found a multi effects pedal that I could ever actually recommend, that is until now!In my personal opinion, this one is exceptional!Firstly, given the price paid, it is surprisingly well made, certainly doesn't feel cheap or plasticy.I have found it easy to use and to understand how to navigate through the various menus and sub menus, it is very intuitive, you should not feel overwhelmed when looking at it online!Given it has a built in tuner, a decent looper, an expression pedal, which can be used as a volume control, an array of connection possibilities (headphones/oitput L & R/ USB - PC cable supplied/USB slot/Customizable sound banks/Ability to edit & re-arrange the factory presets/quality patches & cabinet choices/solid build). This unit performs so much better than anything I have ever used, without having to break the bank!I am very happy with my purchase and will certainly be holding on to this unit for the foreseeable.

Great pedal board very capable of any tone
I was torn between this and of course the boss me insert latest version here. I have a me 70 and love it it’s still great. But I decided on a change this time round and pleased I did. I have got some great Gilmore tones from this unit for marooned the wall tones and more. The computer interface makes tone development easy to use as well as the order of your effects but all modern multi effects have this feature. There seems to be updates also adding new effects and features to the unit. It feels solid and easy to use only time will tell on longevity compared to my me 70 which is still going strong. But I’m more than happy with this unit and would recommend it if you fancy a change from boss

Great device, stubborn software
I'm blown away by its sound and versatility. Build quality is also rock solid. But setting it up on PC is a little bit difficult, not much info in manual or anywhere. You'd need ASIO driver (can be downloaded from Valeton website) to be able to use it as sound input device for Windows, and your GP-200 software version should match device firmware version (could be found in settings in global menu), otherwise it wouldn't load on PC.

Tremendous value for money!
This is a phenomenal bit of kit. Incredibly intuitive. Easy to adjust and save patches. I have not gigged it yet, but I have used it in rehearsal (next to live drum kit volume) and it performed very well. The tuner is excellent. The looper is rather basic and doesn't seem to allow you to loop one sound and play a different effect over it.. but it's still fairly new, so perhaps I'm not doing that right? The parameter functions and flexibility with each effect are excellent. For the money, this is an incredible bit of kit. I regret buying so many individual pedals prior to this purchase, as the Valeton does everthing very well indeed.

Good features considering the price.
So far so good. Hopefully it'll last for 5 years. Sound output is great.

Does what it says on the tin!
This is a fantastic little processor! Sounds great through my Peavy and Marshall amps. Does everything that I want it to do plus allot more. The tones are great as are the effects. You also get a range of cabs to play with too! For what this is you can't beat the price or the quality. The GP-100 is most certainly worth your cash. I will be picking the bigger version up in the future.

Great value but…..
Thought I’d try the GP 200 as I’d seen some great reviews and it does a lot for the money, I decided it wasn’t for me when I could not get the expression pedal to hold my settings, I tried to set a minimum level of 20 % but every time I moved the pedal it would just go to zero, I thought I must be overlooking something but when I went through the manual, I couldn’t find anything about it, so if it is in there it is very well hidden, this was the main reason for the return, also the power supply that came with it is a very cheap thing and wouldn’t last very long if being moved around a lot, still a good piece of kit for beginners for use at home.
