This fan is SO good - well worth the money. Super quiet to sleep to.I got the hotsnap vortex for my other room which was double the price and is no where near as good as this fan! Highly recommend!

So far, so good. The fan is very quiet at level 3 and below. The night function is useful, very quiet but yet to see how effective the low level fan will be in summer. Another useful function for night time is that the indicator lamp goes off after about a minute.

With 10 power levels I'd say using anything over level 5 would be desperate times as it really gets quite noisy.Currently it's sat about 1m from me on my desk on level 3 & that is quiet with a good breeze.I'd say it is better & quieter than my previous fan but then it is 5x the price.Is it 5x better, absolutely not!In my opinion worth the extra though as it looks good, takes up less desk space & has the higher levels should I need them, although I'll need to get my headphones on.

The picture in the advert shows a mother and baby on bed and the fan next to this cooling them. It’s a very misleading picture as the fan is nothing like the size shown. It’s too small and low down for a floor fan and too big for a table fan when using next to a bed. The picture also shows the baby sleeping but this fan is incredibly noisy more so than my traditional bladed fan I have no idea how this baby could sleep. I’m wanting a floor standing fan that’s going to deliver cool air over a bed, being in the bedroom I also want one that’s not so loud, this fan failed to deliver those requirements so it’s been returned. I’m sure in some settings it would be perfect. On the plus side, it did seem sturdy and well built. Please don’t read this review as all negative as there are positives such as build quality it’s just not the right fan for me.

I did something unusual I bought before reading the reviews, and for once, I'm glad I did. Some of the horror stories from other reviews weren't great, and I was worried I'd receive overpriced plastic sometime in the future, but to my surprise, delivery was ahead of schedule, and the fan works well.First things first, the remote does feel like cheap plastic, but it works, and that's all I care about. If it breaks, no big deal, the fan screen is touch, and you can change the settings using the touch screen. It's not the best, but it gets the job done.The fan itself keeps me cool, has a decent reach, and my only criticism is that it can be pretty loud. Other than that, it feels worth the money I paid.

I like this fan it’s not too loud like my pedestal one so can sleep with it on reason for 4 stars is I feel you have to be right in front or level with it to feel it because of where the holes end also I read other reviews saying it can’t be used without the remote! Well where the numbers are on the fan is actually touch sensitive so you can change the settings for the speed without it but not the oscillation an the remote doesn’t have great range if it’s at any distance as others have said. Having said that my cat likes it no more nearly chopping whiskas off in the traditional fan blades an seriously as an asthmatic it’s great also doesn’t take up so much room.

Gives out good air flow but is very noisy when in use , it's louder than a normal fan.Up dateFan has been a lifesaver in the hot weather ,if you keep it on a lowish setting ie 1,2,3or4 it fine noise wise for bedtime, it gets a bit noisier on setting 5 upwards, it gives out a coolish air even in a warm room ,it won't cool a room down but it will help keep you cool if your a couple you'll need one for each side of the bed .The timer is handy you can set it 1 to 8 hours .Highly recommended
