That was my fault because I left them on a stand on my back deck and they β€œsolarized”. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great leaf & acorn scoops *by C***D on January 6, 2017* ReLeaf Leaf Scoops work great, as I'd expected. I bought this product because of its design. Shaped like mitts with solid rounded edges and 2" lip (so to speak) forming a bowl, I figured these scoops would be good for picking up acorns & small twigs, in addition to leaves and grass clippings. That was my primary reason for buying these. I had a pair of flat rake/claw-like leaf scoops in the past. They were good for picking up leaves, but not acorns and small twigs. So, I had to use a shovel to pick up the residual piles of them around the yard. Also, those scoops were thinner plastic, so they cracked after a season or two. Whereas the ReLeaf Leaf Scoops are thicker plastic and, thus sturdier. We have a lot off old oak trees in our yard, meaning lots of acorrns & twigs. When I came across the ReLeaf Leaf Scoops, on Amazon it was a no-brainer for me get them. :-) Using these scoops certainly made my yard cleanup easier this Fall; and I expect they will be a useful yard tool for seasons to come.
