A good part it works just like the original Apple one.
Everything works wonderfully. The replacement took about an hour and a half. If you plan on doing the replacement yourself, make sure you have the right screwdriver sizes.

This keyboard works just as well as the original.
There are plenty of posts out there that say the keyboard is not replaceable on the 2016-2017 Macbook Pro. This is false. You can indeed replace the keyboard, and this one works just as well as the original if installed correctly. Mine was bent slightly on one of the corners but ended up working fine. The repair is quite complicated and I suggest searching youtube for videos on how to remove the rivets and replace them with tiny screws (also found on Amazon, although they are very expensive). When replacing this keyboard I also used superglue on each of the screw holes since they were too small for the rivet holes.

Works perfect, not easy to install for people who do not know how to do this repair
The other reviews are from amateurs who do not know how to do this installation. If you plan on doing this yourself, either watch youtube videos, or take it to a shop that knows how to do this repair.

You can’t use this keyboard for reasons I’ve given
The keyboard is perfect exactly like Apple’s keyboard. The trouble is you cannot replace the keyboard on a MacBook Pro. It’s all welded and riveted in place to the upper body. Once you ripped out the old keyboard forcibly you can’t actually reattach another keyboard. So I wasted all my money purchasing this new keyboard. Eventually I had to purchase an entire top case assembly.

Came with part of the pcb broken
I give it 2 stars because it "work". The left corner of the keyboard PCB came broken. That key fells a little stiff but the rest work. Cannot guarantee if it was 100% new or just renewed/refurbished.
