Washing my guinea's fleece liner results in lots of hair and some hay in the washer even if I shake it out before hand, so I bought this. It does help, but I was surprised how much hair still got out. It's an improvement though.

It works well, keeps the hair out of the washing machine.

We're using it clean our ferrets' felt bedding and cage/ramp tray covers. It holds a good amount of their bedding at half full. But when it's in the washer and gets wet and thrown around, it becomes like a puffed up pillow with a stuffed animal inside...or something. In any case, we need to add a slightly more equal amount of towels outside the bag to keep the washer balanced. So far the zipper and stitching are holding up.We just got a new washer/dryer set and the main purpose is to keep as much hair out of them as possible. We didn't give it any thought with our old top loader washer, which got most of the hair off, but after reading about it we decided to give this a try to prevent any issues with our new front load one. It does seem to keep the hair out of the machine, however most of their hair was still stuck to the felt fabric. Not much got shaken out of the bag. This may be the nature of the felt fabric, ferret hair, or both. The bedding appeared and smelled clean, just still covered in hair. Luckily the dryer's lint trap seemed to catch what came off in there. Now we just have to remove as much as we can before sticking them in the bag.I like the small assurance that the hair will be in this bag instead of our washer. For that task alone, I guess I can recommend it, but the price is still a bit inflated for what it is.

Really working for me and the machine is now clean, no hair coming out of this bag while I’m washing fleece beds of my guinea pigs.Followed the instructions enclosed and everything works perfectly fine.

This is perfect . I wash 2 cage liners at a time . I don’t have to worry about getting hair stuck in the washer . This is an awesome product and a really big help !
