P'tit Basque by Gourmet-Food

Fresh and good. Exactly how I remember. A lot of ppl were downing it, but it makes think they didn’t try it.

P'tit Basque cheese is outstanding! And so is Gourmet-Foods! I cannot do cows milk and was looking for a sheep milk cheese that had a good texture and mild flavor when I found P'tit Basque. I convinced a local store to carry it and purchased it for years. But then I moved to a different state and I could not get this cheese any more which was devastating.I looked on Amazon and was thrilled to see P'tit Basque available from Gourmet-Foods. I ordered this and a sheep milk Pecorino and was totally impressed by how quickly they arrived. The cheese was packaged perfectly and appropriately cool upon arrival. And I honestly felt that the price was competitive and reasonable.Thank you Gourmet-Foods for providing such a great service that truly makes a difference to people like me that have limited options but appreciate a really good cheese.

I have bought this twice for parties and people love it. The only drawback is by the time it gets to me The frozen packs are usually thawed out. I have both times went ahead and used the cheese and it was fine.

Petit Basque is a spectacular sheep’s milk cheese that is hard to find in my area. Gourmet-Food delivered quickly and the cheese arrived safely, properly packed, nice and cold within days! High recommend- they are now our ONLY on line cheese source. Thank you Gourmet-Food!!! Life is better with cheese… GOOD cheese ;-)

My wife and I love cheese. We travel to Europe frequently and love the variety of cheese you encounter everywhere. I bought this thinking it was something else (a hard, chalky cheese from France) and was disappointed upon opening - a side note on the packaging, it came in a box 5 times the size of the cheese with a bunch of cold packing, and it was obvious that a lot of care went into delivering a safe and tasty product.The cheese itself is Unbelievable! It has a smooth, creamy, nutty flavor that is wonderful. If you like hard cheese, you will love this.

LOVE THIS CHEESE! We ordered in the heat of summer so the wheel was slightly misshapen upon arrival. I contacted the seller and she responded immediately telling us this was ok. We refrigerated the cheese, and it worked beautifully with our girolle (cheese curler). The flavor was out of this world!! I will be buying from this seller again. VERY happy with the product and service. Yum!!!

These cheese wheels are normally good for a few months. The one I received was dated for expiration12/31/24, when received on 12/18/25. So it was a couple months old when received.

P'tit Basque is our all-time favorite cheese. It is often hard to find in local markets. We are delighted to discover a new source. It was as delicious as always. Thank you.
