You can use this as a pasta bake
If you have Pasta Bake on your weekly menu... Stuff like Homepride or Dolmio, then this pasta sauce will do exactly the same but at about half the cost... Make it in the same way... Pour sauce into a baking dish, fill jar half way up the label with water then mix it with the sauce... Add 200g dry pasta... stir through and bake at 200 C for 25 mins... Remove from the oven, stir through then sprinkle 100g grated cheese over the top... Return to the oven for another 25 mins until cheese is melted and is golden browm... Great served with salad... Nice meal for a couple of quid.... I haven't used this sauce just as a stir through for pasta, but its a nice flavour, so would probably be okay... 5 stars when used to make a pasta bake...

You get what you pay for
Thought we would dabble in a cheaper version considering the main branded ones have tripled their prices over the last 18 months. Unfortunately you do get what you pay for, quite watery and much less flavoursome but still does the job with a bit of extra seasoning to make up for it
