Not the one light to rule them all
I haven't completely figured out my best use for this light but I do like it very much as hands free backup light clipped snuggly into a pocket on my vest. It's a lot of easily accessible hands free light.Working nights for years has made me a light snob. For me it's my most commonly used tool and having a couple good quality lights is a no brainer. This is a nice edition but not a replacement. It has no adjustable beam focus but it's high beam is more of bright short range flood light than a focused longer distance search light. That's not to knock it necessarily, different tool for a different job but for that reason I don't think it should anyone's primary on the job light. Results may vary.Like most Streamlight products I've used, the light itself seems to be a very solid build. I'm not intentionaly drop testing this. It will get banged around and shock tested at work. If it fails I'll update. At the price of this light I would expect it to be pretty tough. Time will tell.I almost only go with rechargeable lights and my Streamlight rechargeables have been very good. I've replaced a couple batteries over the years but that is to be expected. This is the smallest rechargeable light I currently have. I'm not sure if that means it's lifespan will be less but it is nice that this light accepts other battery options if needed. I don't love the charging method for this light as you have to open the light , remove the battery, plug it into a separate USB cable and let it charge. It's not complicated but it's also not as convenient as snapping it in a charger and removing it ready to go.It came with a black nylon belt pouch that I don't think would hold up well on a duty belt but I don't think the pouch was really meant for the duty belt. That brings me to the pocket clip which is designed to allow for a couple carry options. Attach to molly or other available straps maybe Idk. Attaching stuff to your gear as efficiently and securely as possible is the trick and using this clip alone is not a secure mounting option in my opinion. It's a little too large to sit behind an average molly strap without some modifications. Hanging it on molly gear with just the belt clip doesn't feel like a secure option to me either and certainly not if the environment becomes rigorous.... Again, results may vary user to user.Overall I really like the design and for me it's an excellent backup light. It's a little expensive but such is the way with most good quality gear and at this time I believe this to be a good piece of Streamlight kit attached to my vest ready to work as needed.Stay safe.

Very bright, tough construction and compact design.
I bought this because of the right angle design, reminds me of flashlights issued to me when l served in the military. It is very compact and tough with current light texhnology to boot.

Bright
The flashlight is small in size, but is very bright. It is waterproof and the activation button is easy to use. The flashlight is durable and made out of metal. I use mine at work with ease. I highly recommend this flashlight.

My favorite right angle flashlight
I love flashlights in general. They are a required tool for many things, including survival. This right angle torch is my favorite. It is light and small, but it fits well in my hand, I can clip it on a backpack strap, or even clip it to my belt. The battery that comes with it charges via USB so I can use my power bank to charge it, and it charges fairly quickly. Get a spare battery if you intend to use it a lot during the night. I don't need it but I have it as two is one, and one is none.Very typical Streamlight method to program it, and it is easy if you're used to it.Sends out a nice beam of light to see things ahead, especially if you're exploring a cave or walking/hiking at night. I use this with my headlamp when I climb a crag at night or early in the morning before sunrise.I haven't tested the waterproof effectiveness, but I trust the manufacturer. It has an o-ring on the twist cap and I make sure it is finger tight when I close it down after charging the battery.Amazing right angle flashlight for the price. I used to have a massive one that worked well but took C size batteries which could not be charged. Glad I got this instead.I hope this helps.

What can you say its a Streamlight. Nice and bright. 3 settings all work great. I like the rechargeable battery also.

Ridiculously bright for such a small flashlight
I purchased as everyday carry for walking the dog and was really impressed with the brightness on high. It comes in handy when trying to figure out what a distant object is. I used the 10 tap programming to set the low medium high range and find the low setting to be bright enough for walking and getting 2 weeks before charging. I change to high only if necessary saving battery power. I do have two issues. I must turn off the flashlight to switch from low to high which means it’s goes dark just when I wanted the most light. It would be better if I could switch from low to medium, to high, without having to turn off first. The second issue is because the flashlight is top heavy, the clip doesn’t really hold the flashlight vertical. This makes the clip useless to me as my jacket pockets won’t support the flashlight. Overall however it’s a really good flashlight that’s small enough for my pocket and does a great job of lighting my way.

Classic design five-star performance.
It's not just that they are locally made, Streamlight once again proves they can design a small package flashlight that delivers, the battery may also be interchangeable with some other models. I use mine as a back up mostly for inspection if I forget to carry a larger flashlight from the vehicle to the jobsite. So far it has worked well, although some Streamlight flashlights can have switch defects that affect performance, notably switching to flashing mode too easily. It puts out three levels of light though switching is a bit awkward & not intuitive, the side clip gets used rarely but is a nice addition.
