Clean and easy
We love it. So quick to heat up, very easy to control, cooks evenly. Easy to clean and no gas bottles to refill or charcoal ashes to clean out.Only downside is Tower don’t make a cover for it. Best bbq we’ve ever had!

Love this BBQ!
This is our first electric BBQ. Really glad we decided to go electric with this brand. Once you put together the stand (a bit fiddly but ok), you simply place BBQ on top, and you are good to go. Really easy to use and perfect results. Very pleased with it.

Pretty decent electric BBQ once you have been through the pain of building it.
Overall this is a very good electric BBQ and the first one that I have owned since moving from charcoal BBQ kits. As I mentioned in the headline, the most annoying and painstaking part of this is putting it together. The BBQ itself (heating plates) is already pretty much there you don't have to do much apart from putting the lid on. But building the base/stand for it was a tiresome effort or trying to align holes to screw things in, I think the people at Tower must hate people or just drill roles randomly as the instructions are not very good either. That aside, when the BBQ is up and running it heats up fairly quickly, the temperature control is very easy to use and it's nice to have the flat grilling plate as well as the griddle. Food cooks very evenly and even though you don't get that BBQ charcoal flavouring you will definitely get flavour. I think the non-stick feature is somewhat elaborated in the product description, as things do stick! I find that brushing some oil over the plates beforehand helps with the non-stick. Cleaning is a doddle, very easy to take out the drip tray and heating plate and the food/burnt bits come off pretty easily - a good example of where non-stick does work.I did find though that if you have the lid off the temperature of the cooking plates do tend to cool down even though it should stay at a constant temperature because it's electric powered, so just something to bear in mind if bringing out the BBQ on colder days.I would recommend trying this model if you're looking to move away from charcoals or gas BBQs, it may not be the best on the market, but its size, price and even cooking makes it a good a started electric BBQ.

Actually rather good .....
First electric bbq - only ever used gas / coal ones before. No open flames like coal, but otherwise, this is excellent. Takes a couples of minutes to heat up. Easy to clean.Reasonably easy to put together - better (and larger pictures) instructions would have helped. Can't comment on longevity but if it lasts a couple of years, it's money well spent.

It could have been great but the non sticking coating is peeling off
The Tower BBQ boasts an impressive design with great functionality. It's easy to assemble and incredibly practical to use. The intricate details add to its charm, and it grills with powerful efficiency. However, my enthusiasm for this product was severely dampened by a glaring flaw – the non-stick coating began to peel off quite quickly. When I reached out to the company's support for assistance, I was met with silence after explaining the issue, leaving me feeling disregarded as a customer. Thankfully, Amazon's exemplary customer service came to the rescue and promptly sent a replacement. However, much to my dismay, the replacement seemed to exhibit an even worse version of the same problem. (Refer to the attached photos.)I'm at a loss now. It seems my only recourse is to explore other brands. This could have been an outstanding product, had there been just a tad more focus on quality control. Such a missed opportunity.

Quick and easy
We are really happy with this grill. There is no messing about with waiting for charcoal to burn to the right temperature or lugging gas canister around. Just switch on and start cooking in a minute. The food is kept lovely and moist and when you are done just luft off the cooking plate and clean under the tap. No scrubbing fiddly wire grills. Still get the outdoor cooking feeling but without the phaff

Good value for money
A little tricky to put together but pretty sturdy one you have. What I like about it most though is that it is super easy to use and also to clean. As a result it takes all the hassle out of cooking outdoors and now the weather is better has become the default dinner at home option. In short, for the money I think this is a very worthwhile purchase.

Easy to use lightweight replacement for small gas BBQ
I was surprised that an electric BBQ can be such an effective outdoor cooking system. My old gas BBQ had rusted away and the gas bottles are expensive. This one from Tower is a good replacement. The assembly is a bit fiddly but I had no problem, just make sure you do not cross the threads and make sure you have an Allen key as they do not supply one.It is lightweight and can easily be relocated mainly because it is 50% plastic, which is OK but it does mean the base mount is a bit flexible for my liking and I added an extra bolt to stop the wobble near the front of the base. There are no worries about how fast it heats up. With the lid down you are cooking in 3 minutes. The temperature on the lid thermometer soon gets to 200 degrees. Cleaning is particularly easy as the Teflon coated grill plate is removable and can be washed down quickly in the sink. The temperature settings are thermostatically controlled and range from 1 to 5. You need 5 for a steak and 4 for kebabs and veg. It is ideal for anyone that hates that stale fat smell you get with a gas BBQ. This is clean outdoor cooking that will not bother the neighbours with excessive fat smoke. There is a generous excess fat collector below the grill. It is bigger than I expected certainly enough for a meal for six.Tower have made a good quality grill a bit let down by a the use of plastic in the base. I would prefer more metal in the construction but then the price is reasonable for its size.Packaging mostly recyclable but they could lose the bubble wrap.Ordered 5pm and delivered by midday next day, can’t complain about that.Recommended
