a hot mess.
do not bother buying this. pick ANY other book. not only are there grammar/spelling issues on every single page, it is just the same ideas repeated over and over but at such a shallow level that i read half the book and feel like i learned nothing. see attached photo for an example.

Badly written, seems more like a middle school research paper
I apologise for the negative review, but I am giving my thoughts on it. I am glad at least some people enjoyed this book.Minimal information, thins that could easily be found online if you wanted to research. I don't hold high expectations, but I was hoping for something a little better. Poor writing, sometimes hard to understand what the message was.Example,P.g. 10 (talking about a woman from the 1700)"She hasn't been murdered yet put in jail for eight years."I can understand what was trying to be said, but if you are selling a book I think it's important to proof read.Honestly, I am disappointed I spent money here. I'll probably end up giving it to a second hand book shop. I wouldn't spend your money on this.

don't do it
I felt bad about returning a book I started to read and writing a bad review...at first. When I initially looked at the table of contents before purchasing it, I thought "this looks comprehensive and informative" but upon receiving the actual copy, I only grew more disappointed. The book has a good percentage of 5-star rating, but few positive written reviews. I should have read the reviews. The only positive thing I can say about this self-published disaster is that the author knows a little about a lot of different aspects of witchcraft--sort of like a freshman research project in college--but ultimately fails in every other aspect of writing, and publishing, a book. The typos, the grammatical mistakes, inserting hyperlinks into the text, lack of copyright, introduction, the blurry image on the front cover, the complete lack of sources, the rambling, and how many "sections" of the text only have one or two supporting sentences--I don't think I made it 50 pages into this "book." And at the very end, the author only leaves a call for readers to leave a positive Amazon review! No bio, no website, no contact information, nothing.Pick literally any other book and save yourself the money, negative energy, and experience of trying to get through this piece of work.

Poorly written and not exactly helpful to beginners
While this book as what I think are sound ideas, it is horribly written. Perhaps this book has been translated to English or maybe the person writing it has English as a second language, but I found it difficult to read. There are plenty of topics in there I would like to know more about... too bad they were never actually covered. One part is headed with "How to cast a jar spell" then nothing other than a brief description of what the author is talking about. This book is great to point you towards buying and reading other books, but to help anyone with learning anything about magic? Do not buy.

Inaccurate, with poor grammar...
I could've sworn I read all the reviews before buying this book, but I overlooked them...Trust the reviews!! I'm only on the 8th page, and there have been enough factual inaccuracies and understatements, as well as poor grammar, to make me itch... It really is poorly researched and written, and most likely not proofread or edited at all. Don't buy this book, I promise you won't learn anything from it. If anything, YOU'LL be correcting the facts that you're being given. This book is helpful to no one.

Still no info....
All that white dots...that is a substance that I'm not sure off. It's super stick and gross.Reading the other reviews it looks like it's been fixed on grammar and stone items.Still not greatly written. 90% of the words are. "Study, Read, Watch DVDs or read books, practice" We all know this when we researched In the first place. Also repeated "witches are devil's etc. In the western world" Not much on any actual Information.

Meh, 3/10
Not well written nor well edited. All over the place in regards to format, however has some interesting info. I would not recommend mostly because I just wanted to edit the book rather than read it.

Terrible
This book is written like a third grader wrote it. Uninformed, misspelled, and no content at all. I’m going to use it to start my fires

Mmmm okay....
Very badly written and doesn’t really help with how to start your journey and where to begin ! Gives a lot of information on different types of witches which is helpful but doesn’t flow very well and hard to understand when reading ! Then at the end goes on to talk about magic tricks and preforming then to people at the end was very confusing ?? And also contradicts its self in parts where she says “run away from people who ask for money to do magic” then later on says “being a witch can be a good income” !I did enjoy the part about the elements and their importance and some of the historical parts when you could understand it, but overall a bit disappointing!

Not too shabby
I think there are numerous grammar errors in this book, which make it jumpy and a little difficult to read. However, I did take some interesting things away from this book & have developed a reading list of other books so I can learn in more detail, some of the things touched on in this book. It's been for me, the stepping stone for really starting to delve into the world of Wicca.

Good reading
It is a good book, for begineers, general info about the topic, but if you are already some old practitioner, it could be just basic. It is not a manual about practical magic. I enjoyed reading it anyways
