I got this to facilitate sitting at a multi-keyboard set-up, where the keyboards are at different heights. The seat arrived promptly and was well packaged. Assembly took all of two minutes. The foam padding in the seat is quite firm, though compresses a bit after you have been sitting on it for a while. On the other hand, i was able to sit comfortably on this while playing the keyboards, for over an hour. All the components seem to be well made and look good in place. The additional height that it can reach is high enough that my feet don't touch the floor, but the height is very useful and easily adjusted. My only reservation is that you need to sit in the centre or it will tip to the side you are on. Otherwise, this is exactly what I needed, and I would recommend it to anyone who would benefit from the bench-style seat as opposed to the usual round seat on adjustable stools. Good value!

Really pleased with this. Well made and quite comfortable. I use this in my small music studio where I have some keyboards at different heights and this enables me to reach them without stooping over them. Lack of back support works well in the tight space. That said I don't think it would be suitable to use for several hours in a home office situation.

My only complaint is that the castors could have stops on them. For elderly buyers a warning should be put on the adverts.

Really good, strong and comfortable

I suffer from chronic pain and I am above the weight capacity for smaller chairs/stools. I bought this stool to work on quilting and crafts. I can sit MUCH longer than normal office chairs without a pain flare-up. It feels sturdy under my weight.The stool itself was SO easy to assemble and seems deceptively lightweight when carrying, but it really is sturdy!My only complaint is the lowest setting is still just slightly too tall for my feet to hit the floor with my feet forward (I'm 5 ft 6), but I turn it sideways and sort of straddle it instead. Like I said, no pain flares and sturdy, so I don't mind that much.

The seat of this stool is the very best - so comfortable. However, it is only 2 months old & suddenly it has started to shoot up to its full height when it hasn’t had anyone near it. I am short & have to lean over it to lower it - I almost fell this morning. It is so powerful that it lifts my heavily laden table as it shoots up. It also makes a sudden noise as it ascends. I can’t contact the seller & it is past its return date. This shouldn’t happen to a stool used by one person for only 2 months.

Really needed a stool for the kitchen as I have a problem standing too long, excellent stool, nice big, comfortable seat, sturdy, moves well.

A little larger than ideal for us but works well. Seems strong and well built.
