Much tougher than expected.
On unbagging the product I was shocked at the metal hardware. This is not what I expected at this price point, the next thing I noticed was how heavy the material was, much heavier than it looked online and online and it looked much heavier than other bags in this price range. The zippers; Very heavy for this sized bag. Self covering, not sure if they're water proof, but resistant anyway, good sized pulls with decent cord.Straps; As mentioned the rings, adjusting buckle and clips for the shoulder strap are metal. The side strap (for a cleaning mat I guess) has very heavy side release buckles, all the strapping has generous over stitching.Layout; Zippered main compartment with webbed side sleeve (my pistol slid in there). Two zippered end pockets. Zippered side pocket with elastic divided pockets. Outer cinch strap that can be used to lash something to the side. Two very heavy snap straps (for attaching to a larger piece of gear or belt). It also has loops all over.Size; My Sig, 100 rounds, shooting glasses, ear protection and Otis cleaning kit all fit inside. I haven't touched the end pockets yet. This is a small bag as range bags go. It's for one gun trips. If you regularly take more than one gun to the range or shoot a large frame (1911, large cal revolver) this isn't the bag for you.Summery; I'm enamored with this bag. I travel a lot and might get a second one for all my cords, chargers, toiletries and crap I know I'll take on every trip then just toss it into the three day, one week or three week bag. Knowing it's all there. The quality of the hardware and material was beyond what I expected. The size was what I expected from the photos. I've had a lot of gear bags in my day, from my first camera bag in '83 to the piece of luggage I bought last month. I'm very picky, and quality for dollar is my biggest concern. I never spend more than I have to, but I try to never sacrifice quality. I must have looked at 50 bags on Amazon and kept coming back to this one. Condor calls it a "small" if they made a medium I'd buy one tomorrow, but for the life of me can't find it.Based on this I'd guess a medium would hold two pistols and that would be perfect. At the price I got it at I could even see getting two and connecting them with the molli straps. Hey. That's a great idea. I'm doing it!Look for that update soon.UPDATE 2The bags will in fact "mollie" together if you have the free strap version.Further after almost a year of range use it's a great range bag.My CZ75 as well as my SIG .22 fit great, as well as shooting glasses, cleaning supplies, magazines and LULA. I carry ammo in another identical bag since I like to keep that ready to go with ammo while the guns are locked up. I can fit about 200 rounds of 9mm (in 50 round boxes) as well as a few hundred rounds of .22. Perfect for a few hours at the range.UPDATE:I ordered two more of these bags, interesting. Same quality, however the new ones have attached MOLLE straps, the earlier one had separate straps. But here is what I did: I attached the newer bag to the older one through it's MOLLE straps. I have my pistols and ammo in one, ear/eye protection, cleaning kit etc in the other. The weight difference means I can carry it easily with the pistol bag's handle. Awesome! Now the third? It's my tech travel bag. It's got all my "stuff" for traveling. This will give you a sense of what this "little" bag will hold.End pocket #1: Router power supply, razor charger, USB wall charger.End pocket #2: Leatherman, Swiss Army Knife, hemostats, lighter.Main pocket: Laptop locking cable, Laptop charger (The big Dell Latitude one!)Wireless router, safety glasses, spare phone, hard shell case for main phone, spare AA and AAA batteries, ear buds in case, AUX cable.Pocket #3 Pens, USB extension, 2 USB/micro USB cables, LAN cable, bluetooth ear piece, USB car charger, 220 VAC voltage adapter.Really? Yes..

Good bag. Doesn't feel cheap.
I have been buying these for a few years now. The price has gone up about $10 since I started buying them but they are well made bags and they do not feel cheap at all.

Good little gear bag
I bought this bag as a modular add-on for my pack to hold some basic camping/survival essentials. I've had it for a few weeks now and here's my take on it:The pros:- The sizing and arrangements of the pockets are perfect for its intended use.- The quality of the bag is consistent with Condor's standards: Durable water-resistant material, covered self-repairing zippers and double stitching.- The built-in top carry handle is a nice and convenient feature for carrying when it's not attached to or stowed inside a larger pack. The cons:The only reason why I've dinged this bag down one star is that the modular mounting setup on the back of the bag is a little wonky. There's only one set of loops on the back of the bag so it tends to shift around a bit on whatever platform you mount it to. Also, there are five straps, which does not match the MOLLE webbing of at least a few Condor packs to which this bag might be mounted. I own two Condor backpacks - on one of them, the MOLLE loops run four across the back and the other one runs six across, so this bag sits lopsided whenever you try to mount it to either one being that it only has five straps. You can tell by looking at it that they might have meant have six straps on the bag but couldn't quite fit them without compromising proper spacing. If they added slightly to the height and width of the bag to accommodate six straps and a second set of loops, it would it would greatly improve the modular mounting setup.Overall:Great little bag for its intended purpose - it can hold a lot of small gear yet keep it reasonably well organized. From my experience Condor's products in general strike a good compromise between cost and top-of-the-line quality. I know it's verbose, but just to give you an idea of what this bag can hold, here's a list of gear that I've managed to cram into it so far:- two small LED flashlights and spare batteries- a few zip-loc baggies- a lensatic compass- multiple means of fire-building plus quite a bit of tinder- roughly a square yard of aluminum foil- three coffee filters- 50' of 550 paracord- a hand crank emergency radio/cell phone charger/flashlight- tablet of paper, permanent marker, pen and a pencil- Hygiene stuff: sun screen, hand sanitizer, travel towels, lip balm, bug repellent, disinfecting wipes, a travel pack of tissues- a multi-tool- a locking knife- an emergency mylar blanket- lots of fishing hooks, line and sinkers- about 30' of duct tape- a few s-binersThere's quite a bit of room left over, so as I think of other things I want to put in here I have the option of adding more if I see fit.If you're looking for a gear bag that's bigger than a pouch but smaller than your typical utility bag, this is a good one to have on hand.
