10 YC-9WRT-1G-24-10 YuCo CE Listed 9MM Compact Panel Mount Indicator LED Pilot Light Green 24V AC/DC

These are very nice indicators, here go pluses and minuses:+ Bright LED especially when viewed head on. Think very small LED flashlight.+ The 10-pack at $ 19.95 is quite a good deal.+ Plastic lens is forgiving of sloppy holes (it covers them completely.)+ Works on both AC and DC+ The leads are handy and can save you time wiring your circuit (vs the soldered lug type.)+ Direct replacement for the older style 9 mm indicators (e.g. the high voltage neon type.)+ Very little heat vs incandescent bulb- Not a lot of light shines sideways. You could do just as well off with a flatter lens unit that protrudes less. (See  Yuco YC-9WRT-23R-24-10 LED 9mm Miniature Indicator Pilot Light 24V AC/DC, Red . Unfortunately, that one is not available in green/24V/10-pack, see my note on product stock at the end.)- From what I can tell the device brings the 24V down to the LED voltage (about 2V) with a resistor. So you are wasting a fair % of the input power, but in absolute terms it's ok. (The LED voltage seems to be around 2.0 V and the entire device draws 14 mA at 24V. So about 30 mW go to the LED and 300 mW to a resistor.)- This is not a high precision assembly, the LED is typically off center inside the lens housing.- If your panel is short of space, you can squeeze in an LED indicator using way less real estate (e.g. drilling a 6mm hole and glueing a bare 6 mm LED into it.)Note on product stock: Yuco seems to market this type of 9 mm indicators on Amazon in many variants:- 12 V / 24 V / 120 V / 220 V- protruding (YC-9WRT-1 style) / flat (YC-9WRT-23 style)- color: red / green / amber / blue- single unit vs 10-pack- Prime vs not-primeYou would think you could get any combination of these but far from it. Many combinations are not available (at least as of today.) For example for my project I wanted to get the same 10-pack as this item but in red. No luck, they only come in singles and one unit costs the same $ 19.99 price as a 10-pack (???). I also tried to order a non-Prime version and at checkout time it told it would arrive in weeks (probably shipped from China.) So shop carefully and only buy 10-packs (and ideally Prime-shippable) . If you are flexible on colors you'll probably find something. And by the way, different colors can differ in brightness. The green I bought for $19.99/10-pack was noticeably brighter than the red I bought at $ 19.99/single. Sure enough, when I measured the LED current and voltage the green LED drew 14 mA at 2.2 V (about 30 mW) and the red one drew 11.4 mA at 1.6 V (about 18 mW.) Happy building!Happy building!

Decent cheap indicators for a personal project. Not quite industrial quality. The LED's inside are mounting at varying angles, affecting apparent light output. 1 of 10 had poorly formed threads that wanted to strip if tightened at all.

Product worked great as a replacement for antiquated indicator lights on control panel. Excellent fit and these should outlast my lifetime!

These work fantastic! They are brightly lit and are easy to work with! Thanks for providing a great product for a great price!

Not very bright unless viewed head-on, and even then, still poor. LED simply slips into light housing and is loose, can easily slide out. Recommend you glue the LEDs into the housing before use.
