Fit my dryer perfectly!! Fast shipping too. What I didn't realize about GE dryer knobs is that they're interchangeable, so as I was waiting for the knob to arrive, I simply used one of the other knobs for the dryer heat/time setting

I bought this item (fulfilled by AMZ) thinking I was getting a genuine replacement part. Upon inspection I am not convinced this is genuine. The differences between the OEM part I pulled and the part I purchased from AMZ is shown in the pictures.To summarize:1: The replacement part is flimsy feeling. There is a rattle between the silver disc trim and the main handle body.2. There signs of a cheap mold. You can see the witness marks of where the plastic is injected to form the handle. The OEM part is smooth and even from every angle.3. The underside reveals a shoddy ut of the mold to make the silver disc. The OEM part is smooth and mirror like finish. The replacement part shows the tool marks when the mold was cut.4. The replacement has a metal ring to keep the shape of the retaining hole. The OEM part does not. Perhaps this is from experience that shows the retaining hole cracked and broke. I don't know, only time will tell.All in all I am not going to send this back.I am however disappointed in my buying experience with Amazon. If the description states genuine, I expect a genuine part. Buying on Amazon is becoming a gamble like buying on eBay. The trust is eroded!

Works perfectly! I was wondering the other day why the knob on my dryer wasn't turning the pin. I was about to pull it off and found that it was cracked, so I came looking on here to see if I could find a replacement. I'm glad I did! Best Buy Parts Store wants like $15 for it, and I bought it for around $6 here. Will definitely purchase again should the need arise.

Used website linked on site to verify this would fit my machine. It is not the dryer timer start knob as advertised. NOT OEM. It WILL fit the timer start shaft which is the diameter as the other two switches on the machine. You can make it work, but must contend with a smaller non-matching switch and you must find and mark the new pointer location which is not the same as the original. not hard. tedious for a supposed OEM product.

Very flimsy (thin) plastic. I buy several at a time because the break so easy.It's a good replacement for the one that came with the washer/dryer, good fit and all, just so darn cheaply made.If I could find another source, I would try them. As it is, I would not recommend

The original OEM knobs on the dryer timer kept breaking. One would break; we would substitute another from the dryer or washer, and it would also break. Using pliers was beginning to mess up the timer shaft, plus it's hard to know where you are. This knob design has an extra metal ring around the plastic sleeve that fits over the shaft. So far, this ring seems to have prevented the plastic sleeve from breaking. Otherwise, the knob looks exactly like the original. The knobs should have come from the factory with this reinforcing metal ring, IMHO. Hopefully this will be a permanent fix.

I'm sure this is a fine knob For an appliance that it would fit. But it Was not a good fit for my ancient dryer. Nevertheless, I shoved it on And it works to turn my dryer on, even though It sticks out quite a ways from the surface of the dryer.

I have bought several and they break, quality not there for me.
