I have the smallest size for my 3 month old kitten and she does so well in it! I feel a lot better about this harness than the ones that don't have padding. It is extremely adjustable and I think it will be a few months before I have to get a bigger one. I also appreciate the reflective material. My kitten wore this for 7 hours yesterday without getting annoyed at it :)

Bought this for our cat. Got a pink one for her. Originally ordered a small (she is 9lbs) that was delivered the next day, but it was to small. So I did proper measurements and according to the page, I should have ordered a medium. Totally my fault. The company made it extremely easy to return. So easy that the day I received my first one, I ordered the proper one and received it the next day. It fit perfect so measure first! We use this daily cause our cat loves coming outside when I garden. She walks around the yard and plays but it does give me the piece of mind that she isn’t climbing a tree or jumping the fence. We haven’t used the leash much cause she does great without it. We have since got another cat so will be ordering one for him too and I recommended this to my mom for her cat. It did take our cat a few time of wearing it to get use to it. She would walk backwards or just lay down but now she steps right into it cause she knows she going to play outside. Great product and company would recommend to anyone with a small dog or cat.

It was so hard finding accessories that would fit my 2.5lb. Pomeranian puppy. Collars and harnesses were always too big. Then I found this harness, thanks to another review I decided to give the XS size a shot. The XS was still a bit loose ( which was expected since his chest was smaller than the measurements shown) but since it was the smallest of all the harnesses I looked at I didn't mind. I used it at first just to get him use to wearing it, and keeping him secure in both the car and his stroller. After he finished all his vaccinations his chest measured close to 7" and it was finally snug enough to go for walks.This harness has breathable material which is great to keep long haired dogs cool in this heat. Even when it was loose he was never able to slip out. I love the fact that it's adjustable, it's still on the tightest setting and he's 5 months and now 3.5 lbs so we won't have to size up for a while.The only con is the obnoxious logo on the chest. People kept asking if his name was avocado, thinking that's what the logo said, so I ended up cutting it off. It was fairly easy to do with a box cutter, just cut the thread one by one and you're good to go!

This product was so easy to put on my cat! He found it comfortable and I found it secure! Definitely recommend.

It’s cute and appears well made.BUT…I bought months ago and there is STILL an HUGE crease across chest. And I’ve wet it, stretched it. Washed it in machine and stretched it. The fold has lessened but when I put this on kitten it doubles up on itself where fold is across chest! And then kitten is not secured in it.It is cute, looks like a Santa suit. I wanted it for use in dec, but I’ve spent so much time trying to get fold old it’s been on kitten 2x for very little time. At the moment it’s still on a drying rack, being stretched with clothes pins!Shes growing so fast that soon it will be too small for her to even wear. So FYI the location of the folding crease if you buy the xs and s for small pets. May not be an issue with larger sizes.IF the crease hadn’t been there or been easily removed, I’d have given product 4 or even 5 stars. I’ve had “permanent” pant creases that came out easier!I’m just grateful I got this on sale so I’m not out much.

My cat loves this after working with her about a week! The velcro makes it much easier to get on. This isn't escape-proof! Even with it snug my cat has backed out of the harness if the leash is pulled from her front, so I'd never trust it completely and never leave her alone even for a minute. It doesn't have a handle, but it is sturdy enough to grab and pick up your cat one-handed in a hurry. I got the medium and it's working great for my 7-month old, 8 pound cat, and she has room to grow into it. Probably too big though for a younger/smaller cat. The velcro can overlap and the straps are very adjustable.Here's how I get the harness on my cat: I squat down onto my knees, I put harness open on floor in front of me, I put my cat between my legs with my feet together so she backs into my feet and is trapped, then I pick up both of her legs and pull them thru the 2 harness leg holes, close the velcro (should be snug; can overlap it), and close the push buckle. I worked slowly with my cat each day, and learned I could give her a little pat on her tail to encourage her to move forward on her own. After a week she was exploring on her own, but I'm always ready for her to bolt if she hears a new noise, etc. Now she knows the harness means we're going out to walk in the woods, (safely) stalk the critters, and (partially) climb trees. This is my first in-door only cat and it's really been wonderful for us and the wildlife. Be patient and it really is great fun.

Very sturdy and thick material. It was quick to get on and off my cat. She doesn't be still long. Had another kind before that was only harnesses and it was a struggle. This vest works great and she is securely and safely in it to go for a stroll outside.

Finally Finnigan can join us on the patio and he’s comfortable and happy.

Fits well, our cats can still back out of it, however, it takes effort which gives you time to stop it.

Horrible my cat got out of it and yes it was properly on. and was missing for 2 days
