Woods 2516 Coleman Duplex Right Angle Quad Box with Gfci; 125 V; 15 A; 14/3 Awg Sjtw; Gauge; Yellow

Purchased a couple of these for jobsite use have not been disappointed. They are durable and have held up over the last couple of months.

Met my needs to my electronic requirements. Provided the protection towards my tools and appliances. Could have used a 10 feet length to allow for it to make its way around corners, but still deserving of a 5-star rating.

This was purchased to provide a ground fault protected source outside my house. The unit is well built externally and the 6 foot main cord is very helpful in my case. One problem arose. When I received the unit there was something metallic rattling around inside the outlet case. Upon opening the case I found a loose blob of solder that must have fallen inside when the common ground wires were being installed. The blob fell out and the fact that it was there cost this product a star. Otherwise this is a decent product at a competitive price.

Electricity! What else can I say. Great for my workshop. I am now able to have multiple power tools plugged in at once & with the GFI plug I don’t worry about blowing the grid!

Unlike the picture on the box, this unit seems generic and does not show the name "Woods" or "Coleman" anywhere. Instead the area where the brand name should be is blank. On the back of the quad box it shows the model number "TP-309", which I could not cross reference anywhere. To me this makes the "UL" label worthless. If the brand doesn't want their name on their equipment, I won't trust it to perform its GFCI function when needed.

Works well. Haven't had a short to test the GFCI part but so far so good.
