The mirror and led is great but the design of power cord is not good. You will have hard time setting its back flushed on the wall because of the power cord..whar i did was to make a new hole of the power cord at the back plate and pull back some of the wire..i made a hole directly on the recessed power outlet on the wall...i figured out that the back panel is only secured by velcro strip...for easy access of the electrical components...its only made up.of led strip and can be replaced if its busted ...After installation...satisfied with the product...i was able to flush it on the wall...i had to modify the power cord at the back..i cut off the portion where the power outlet will touch the back panel...make sure to use recessed outlet...

Some reviews said this mirror was very bright, so I was hoping to use it as the sole source of light in a small bathroom. But, I wouldn't call it bright enough for a bathroom where you plan on doing makeup and shaving in it, etc. You will need another light source.Also I hardwired this into an existing wire. You have to get creative with the mounting since the wire comes out of the back, and extends past the flush surface of the back of the mirror. So I had to make a trench in the drywall to accommodate. If you plan on using an outlet behind the mirror, it will have to be recessed and in the exact right spot.

I absolutely love this mirror. I definitely recommend buying this one for your bathroom, it is absolutely beautiful and bright. It was so easy to install and it is definitely worth the money. You can adjust the brightness, It’s so high quality and I love it. I use it to take pictures, get dressed, do my hair, and to also do my skincare. I absolutely love it and You will too!

The plug is a long cord right in the middle of the light with a 2-1/2” plug. There is no way it’ll lay flat against the wall. I had to have an electrician install a deep outlet in the wall then when I went to hang it, the plug and cord stuck way out. Now I have to pay another person to remove the outlet, cut the cord then connect the wires in the wall to the mirror wires! I asked him, when I need to change the bulbs, I need to call an electrician? I’m not messing around with the wires. He couldn’t even figure out how to replace the bulbs. Oh and you need those toggle things that pop open behind the drywall. What I don’t understand is, why no one else mentioned this.

First of all let me start off by saying this mirror is okay for the price. The brightness could be be better. The mirror doesn’t really come with mounting hardware so you will have to buy at your local hardware store.

I wanted this to replace an old bathroom mirror. Installation can't be any easier. Mount your drywall anchors and attach to the wall. I'm plugging into an out let for now because it's right beside the mirror, but I will soon drop a box behind the mirror and make it a bit more permanent, and free up my power outlet again. The rear of the mirror has a grey hardboard with Velcro going all of the way around (on the inside). The entire back panel can be removed, and I suggest doing that before plugging in, just to make sure all connections are tight and tidy. Very nice mirror! Love that it has anti-fog button too... Press it and the glass heats up to the temp (or close enough) of the room after a shower, and the mirror does not fog!
