Not just for hot pot cooking
While I haven't tried Chinese hot pot cooking yet I have used it for grilled cheese sandwiches and soup, and sausage and rice.Very useful for many meals.

Bad experience
The product isn’t safe. I was using it and when I plugged it in, the whole power line went off. I had to go fix the power through the power box. I thought it might be a coincidence but when I pulled it back in, it happened again. It only works if you use one side. You can uses just the pot or only use the grill. When I use both, it cuts the power

Worth it
Product is great. Only thing is one handle was cracked probably during shipping. Other than that everything was perfect food came out amazing
