Midnight Jade Semi Permanent Hair Dye Kit, 1 Application

I’ve been dyeing my hair green for three years, and this has been one of my favorites. The color is absolutely beautiful; you don’t need hydrogen peroxide, and—having used this specific brand twice now—the intense color really lasted me about three months. It is important to note that for the color to look exactly as shown on the packaging, your hair needs to be bleached; unfortunately, it won't work on dark hair. The package includes everything you need for at-home use, and what I liked most is that the dye comes inside an applicator bottle; this makes the process much easier, as you don't need a separate bowl or brush to apply it.

I've been using this product for 6 years now and I love it. Some things to note: -don't use any of the included lightening agents, get better quality products -don't expect it to last on unlightened hair. it fades almost instantly on raw, unprocessed hair -do wear gloves and apply oil to your skin before using the product-this will stain for a few days but it does scrub off -do thoroughly rinse and wash after applying or you'll be sweating color -do enjoy a truely long lasting color treatment with a lovely fade out phase This product is definitely for those of us that maintain our fantasy hair color long-term and not for people who want to try it for a few weeks.

My hair has started to not take hair dye well lately, but this is the one that worked! I have naturally very light brown/dirty blonde hair, and this is so vibrant and beautiful on it without bleaching. I do notice this hair dye stains my bathtub a bit more than other dyes, but I can easily clean it with rubbing alcohol or bleach. It also stays on the skin a bit longer than other dyes, but after 5 or so shampoos it's out.

Hey, I'm a guy comfortable in his sexuality but generally conservative in my choices. It took me some time but I decided top dye my hair deep forest green. I did the bleach thing last week and this weekend was the big plunger Product applied very easily and it appeared very dark green on my head. As soon as I started rinsing it out I noticed the blue/turquoise stains on my hands, sink, tub. This stuff was coloring everything it touched. The problem I found is that the color it leaves behind is turquoise, NOT midnight emerald. There is NO green, it's all turquoise. Yay, Now I'm the guy with unicorn hair! I'm generally not pleased at all and I rate this a zero for overall satisfaction. The categories it did ask me to rate were longevity, ease of use, and scent. Not how well did it work. Don't buy this or you will be a Smurf!

I love it. Been wanting to so rhos forever. One thing that kinda urged me tho and good to know is that even tho it says "for Brunettes" and also at the bottom for all hair types. When you open the box and begin to read instructions it says unless you have med to light blonde hair you must use bleach first before using this product. I mean put it in the box people if your gonna be like that about it. I mean really! Anyways my hair is a medium brown. I did a test today only left product on for 15min and came out a deep deep green its so pretty. In reg light pretty much looks like hairs been darkened. But in the light that greens just bam. Gonna leave for 30 when I do it for real.

I have brown hair with a few grays and this stuff has impeccable coverage. It does stain the scalp, though, so be precise in your application. Lasts through a few shampoos, so worth the money to me.

1. Don't use this particular line of hair dyes if your hair is bleached. 2. This hair dye is not intentionally designed for people with naturally brunette/ dark hair. 3. For all those complaining about the color coming out wrong on their bleached hair...read the instructions first and find a product that is designed for bleached hair (it's your own fault if you look like a Smurf and not a forest goddess after applying this awesome hair dye). 4. The darker your hair, the longer you will need to let it sit to get the best results. (I leave this on for 3 hours & wrap my hair in aluminum foil and then a towel). 5. The dye will rub off on clothing and other things for the first half dozen washes (the dye washes out of most things, but you might want to try darker clothes and a towel over your pillow to reduce all the clean up). 6. This dye lasts way longer on natural hair than posted (I stopped dying my hair for 7 years and used this to cover my grey and get a beautiful dark green color in my hair for my wedding in Sept. 2023 and then redid the dye in July 2024 for an event. My hair has grown out, however, the back ends of my hair still show the green after all this time...best grey coverage ever). 6. If you are a natural brunette (not blonde or bleached), I highly recommend this dye as it is healthy for your hair, turns out fantastic, and lasts a long time. (Don't believe the naysayers who didn't read the instructions and ended up with the wrong color because they don't understand color theory).

I was gonna give this four stars but all honesty it’s two days later and I’ve washed and rinsed my hair several times and it’s still dying my neck and my hand and everything around me. The color rubs off extremely easily. It’s a beautiful color. I just wish it wouldn’t keep dying my neck green. maybe it was user error, but I’ve died and colored my hair whatever you wanna call it many many times and I’ve never ran to this problem before.
