## Description

THI-VEX is made especially for thickening Smooth-On silicones for vertical surface application (making brush-on molds). Different viscosities can be attained by varying the amount of THI-VEX. THI-VEX is added as a percentage of Part A and must be thoroughly mixed with Parts A and B. THI-VEX will not work with Mold Max 40 or Mold Max 60 silicones.

**Q: Is this a good thickener for use with alumilite quick set rtv silicone?**
A: The Thi-Vex is normally used to thicken brush-ons like the rebound 25 silicone which checks its tendency to flow especially when the object being molded is in the vertical. The alumilite quickset silicone is not a brush on silicone. It is meant for pouring and therefore does not need the thi-vex thickener. If you make it thicker, it will be difficult for it to copy very intricate features.I hope this helps.

**Q: Will this work with Mold Maker by Alumilite?**
A: We don't test Thi-Vex with non-Smooth-On silicones.

**Q: Part A of my smooth-on got hard, can i use this with only part B to make a mold?**
A: No, that won't work

**Q: Can I use this with OoMoo30?**
A: It will work for OoMoo30, but I had much better results using rebound 25 with the thivex
