Great Summer Read
Secretly Hers is one of the best books I have read. The book is filled with moments of laughter, sexy banter, conflict, and one of the most heartbreaking scenes I've ever read; it caused me to ugly cry!Jamie Beck has written a book which totally engulfed my heart! Trip and Kelsey travel a bumpy, twisty road filled with many potholes on their journey towards each other. Just when I found myself getting comfortable with the story, bam, a surprise came along, and I found myself saying "Oh, no! Holy moly! What now?" For me, this is what kept me intrigued, my interest high and wanting to turn the pages quickly.Secretly Hers is a riveting, tantalizing, heart melting read! The book makes a phenomenal summer/beach read. It just won't get any better than lounging in the sun at the beach, pool or backyard reading Secretly Hers! Pure enjoyment!

Better than the 1st book!
I can honestly say I like this book better, I always liked Kelsey & Trip better then Avery (I felt that she was too quirky for my liking) I don’t think I like Emma that much either so I’ll probably skip that book. I love how it wasn’t all love. They had their ups & downs with the pregnancy & the miscarriage. I felt the story had a good rhythm but when it came to the end it felt rushed or incomplete. I mean they were not together til the middle of chapter 20... yes the last chapter & just a few pages where they made up. But overall was not bad . If they would of worked on the ending better I would of giving it a 5 star.

Interesting story
He did not meet his father until age eleven and his mother had died. Never feeling loved or even loved anyone, he has become playboy by reputation. She wants marriage and family. This becomes their story and it is a struggle!

Already done. Too Cliche.
I really liked the first half of this book but then it went somewhere that annoyed me. We have Kelsey this real estate agent who believes in fairy tale endings and is looking for her Prince Charming. However she’s also portrayed as this strong woman who is making a life for herself despite not having a man. Then there’s Trip aka Gunner who is the town’s playboy and doesn’t believe in getting too close to anyone or anything but of course he and Kelsey strike up this friends with benefits relationship that you know will end in heartbreak. My issue with this book is twofold. Without ruining anything, it becomes clear after their first sexual encounter what is going to happen and I thought “no that’s cliche, the author won’t go there”. She does. And from there Kelsey goes from being strong to ridiculous and Trip goes from being a manwhore to the perfect man. It’s so unbelievable and then another cliche happens and it’s all dramatic yet it’s all sunshine and rainbows at the end.I like romance novels because when written well they make me swoon & fall in love with the but when I read crap like this, it makes me upset I wasted my time. I want to read something and not know how it’s going to turn out. I like to be surprised. The first book in this series is great. A newer topic. Great characters. This book, not so much.

No surprises here... Wonderful.
It's a terrific read. It's very real. Nothing stuck out that seemed unbelievable. The first in this series had a man saying something like "Oh my goodness". Yeah right. How many men do you know that would say such a bland thing when confronted by an infuriating situation - their woman gets insulted, they hit their thumb with a hammer, a business deal goes down the drain? None that I know. What man would apologise for swearing during sex?! Again, none that I've ever come across. But this tale, is just right. On to book three.

Never say never to a lovely lady
When I read Jamie's first book " In the cards" I stated at the time how she got into the understanding of the insecurities tied into relationships . This book again shows the depths that she goes to to bring the characters feelings to the fore so you feel as a reader the angst and uncertainties and then the relief and happiness that follows . A very enjoyable , entertaining and classy story with a different angle to the romance and relationship involved. A must read for a follower of romantic genre .

Good read
Trip was a player, he had no intention of having a steady girlfriend or being the marrying mind. Kelsey, being 30 years old wanted desperately to be a wide and mother. Could oil and water mix? As this is what Trip and Kelsey seemed to be
