It doesn’t strip my scalp of natural oils but does leave my scalp feeling clean and refreshed. With that being said this product is not used as a daily conditioner, but rather once every two to three days depending on how sweaty/dirty my hair gets. The smell is refreshing sweet and musky, but I am unable to tell how well the smell retains in the hair as i also use scented conditioner.
