Perfect compact mirrorless for travel and everyday use. Small, light, flexible and easy to use. Why folk go bonkers for trendy fixed lens retro cameras like the Fuji X100 is beyond me. In real world use, this is a far more sensible bet. And half the price. And you can actually buy one.... I know whereof I speak. I have been a globe-trotting photographer for 40 years, and professional for 20. Whatever you are told by influencers and shills, a single-lens viewpoint is fundamentally limiting creativity; you need different ways of looking at the world! And the m4/3 system provides loads of options here...

ive just started photography as a hobbie . was looking and watching diffrent reviews . i did order the nikon d3500 , but after waiting 4 month as out of stock i orded the olympus o m d 10 mark 1V . i am not dissapionted . what a great camera . light to handle , sturdy body . i was a bit worried that it might be to technical and more advanced for a begginer . how wrong i was , i looked at reviews and training vidoes for settings etc . i found this camera straight forward to operate . youve got the auto mode which is great , ive started to use other modes now and im very happy with the out come and quality of the photos taken . im very pleased with this upgrade from what i was looking at the beginning . a great camera to start with .

My first cameras many years ago were Olympus OM series, they were great. I’ve used Nikon for several years and they were fine, until problems started happening with the WiFi connection. I was so frustrated that I started to look around and went for this cool looking number from Olympus. I already have a TG6 for water sports and the WiFi app works every time. This OM10 is compact, lightweight, and does what it says on the tin. I carry it in the mountains, and it’s hardly noticeable compared with heavier DSLR’s. Good selection of lenses too..

So neat and compact and so many brilliant options. From strolling about with half a tone of gear I am now using this wonderful camera. I like it so much I have sold everything else and bought a secondhand M1 to go with it.

Design und Verarbeitung: Das Design der Kamera ist ansprechend und fühlt sich gut verarbeitet an. Das Gehäuse aus Magnesiumlegierung wirkt robust und macht einen soliden Eindruck. Mit ihrem vergleichsweise geringen Gewicht ist die Kamera angenehm zu handhaben und eignet sich gut für den täglichen Einsatz. Bildqualität: Die Bildqualität ist insgesamt zufriedenstellend. Der 20,3-Megapixel Live MOS Sensor liefert klare und detailreiche Fotos, selbst bei weniger idealem Licht. Der Bildstabilisator arbeitet zuverlässig und hilft dabei, Verwacklungen zu minimieren. Comprata per integrare la precedente M10-Mark1, del 2015, ancora perfettamente funzionante e che usero' come corpo di riserva. Che dire? Dopo 8 anni il modellino e' stato potenziato parecchio e mi riprometto di fare un test approfondito. Sono felice che sia stato mantenuto quel meraviglioso aspetto vintage che la contraddistingue. Compattezza e leggerezza sono sempre al top. I pulsanti e le levette mi sembrano alquanto migliorati (la vecchia disposizione a volte creava qualche problema soprattutto con i guanti). Prime impressioni sulla qualita' delle foto e dei video: meravigliose!

È un’ottima fotocamera, costruzione solida anche se in plastica, qualità dell’immagine top con il nuovo sensore da 20 mpx. La uso per la street photography ed è un must have.

Cet appareil photo est mon premier de la marque Olympus. La première chose qui m'a plu dans cet appareil, c'est le fait qu'il soit particulièrement compact. J'ai déjà un Nikon, mais il est beaucoup plus gros. Résultat : quand on va quelque part, on hésite toujours avant de le prendre car il prend pas mal de place. Là, l'Olympus est bien moins encombrant et de ce fait plus facile à transporter. On n'a pas besoin d'avoir un sac à dos spécial pour pouvoir sortir avec. L'appareil est agréable à prendre en main. Il y a un bouton mécanique qu'on pousse pour déployer le flash. Ce n'est pas révolutionnaire (mon Nikon a le même type de bouton), mais ça fait toujours son petit effet. Surtout qu'on ne s'y attend pas vraiment sur un appareil aussi compact. Mais si l'appareil est ergonomique, on ne peut pas en dire autant de l'interface. Seul le menu rapide est simple à utiliser.... pour le reste, il y a énormément d'options mais il est assez difficile de s'y retrouver et de comprendre à quoi correspond tel ou tel paramètre. Je dois bien avouer que je suis quelqu'un d'assez impatient et que passer une éternité à trouver ce que je cherche fini assez rapidement par m'agacer. En tant que néophyte, cela ne pose pas tant de problème car on se contente de quelques paramétrages simples. Mais pour les photographes plus aguéris, changer les paramètres de l'appareil pourra rapidement s'avérer frustrant. L'appareil est très réactif et se déploie très rapidement. Donc c'est un très bon point. Cet appareil photo vient avec un objectif 14-42mm. C'est un objectif standard qui conviendra à un utilisation classique. La qualité de l'image est bonne, mais ne se démarque pas particulièremnet des autres appareils ayant une définition de 20 Mpx. L'écran de ce modèle bascule à 180°. Encore une fois, il n'y a rien de révolutionnaire puisque mon Nikon le fait aussi... On pourra ainsi faire des selfies en tournant l'écran. L'appareil peut également prendre des vidéos, mais je ne conseillerais pas d'acheter ce genre d'appareil si vous êtes vidéophile car ce n'est pas sa fonction première. Il vaut mieux une bonne vieille caméra. On peut aussi prendre des vidéos en 4k, mais cela n'a d'intérêt que si on a un écran 4k, ce qui n'est pas mon k... pardon, mon cas. Le chargement se fait via câble USB. J'aurais préféré un câble USB C, cela m'aurait permis de recharger l'appareil avec le même câble que mon téléphone. Mais au moins, c'est un type de câble standard. Donc au final, c'est un appareil photo qui est assez standard dans ses fonctionnalités. Le seul point qui fait vraiment la différence sur cet appareil, c'est son côté compact. Pour le reste, il ne se démarque pas vraiment. J'ai acheté mon Nikon 500 euros. A l'heure où j'écris ce commentaire, l'Olympus est à 850 euros. A vous de voir si le côté compact de l'appareil vaut ces 350 euros de différence.
