Viair Heavy Duty Compressor Universal Mounting Bracket, P/N 95900

Had to send this back. Wouldn't work with the non-Viair compressor I purchased. This bracket was just what I wanted to mount my compressor on ... just couldn't get it to fit.

Added on-board air to my custom trailer. Used this bracket for a Viair 444 compressor. Seems plenty sturdy enough and was alot easier than fabricating a custom bracket.

No Hardware with the bracket. I'm sure it is a universal bracket that is used in many applications. Nothing was mentioned about needing to have your own hardware for mounting.

Nice sturdy bracket. Perfect size for the ViAir 450C compressor. Added some small steel washers where the compressor feet mount to the bracket to keep the rubber isolators from pushing through the holes. Worked great. Couldn't fabricate this for less due to the price of steel right now. The compressor and bracket together fit up nice and high out of danger from being hit when rolling over higher berms rocks etc. Mounted on a 2020 Chevrolet 2500HD LTZ.Mounting did require drilling holes in the frame which was the most difficult part.

I bought an old truck, that had this mounted to a frame rail. The unit was old and rusty, but still ran strong. I decided to run the pump, with the engine running, so as to make life easier, for the ancient batteries that came with the truck. Even tho I had read on the internet, NOT TO. Well, after a month of inflating, "Air Springs" with it, it died. I bot anotherone, and will NOT run the engine now, when the unit is running. So really, this unit needs a manual on/off switch, so that U can control when it comes on.

I'm not happy I received this mount bent. It's not terrible but I will have to straighten it before I install it. Just added work I wasn't planning on.
